Harrison / Brodie looks next up.

As said earlier, this card doesn't really need any major support, as it's already sold out in record time.

However, J makes a good point, it could be an excellent showcase for Harrison, especially as there's a chance he might crush Brodie in impressive fashion, or be involved in a thriller.

It would be great news if Hatton and Harrison were on showtime. Whilst I don't think Harrison can really go much farther than he has already, I could be wrong, and if he is to get a major fight then this sort of exposure is like gold dust.

Yes, and Brodie is known in America - he is still in the Ring's top ten (if memory serves me correct) and was mentioned on ESPN in the recent Espadas vs Juarez bout.

I don't know why some people are so excited about this match... Brodie has never been the force at Feather that he was at 122 and he basically looked shot in his last fight against Chi.... while I think he would have given Harrison a good fight before the Chi fights I fear he will now be blasted out in about 5 rounds... cue the Maloneys saying again how great Harrison is and bring on Morales etc.
This fight is happening now because Harrisons people are sure Micheal is shot... its as simple as that.
I personally won't take much pleasure seeing Micheal take a beating from the dour Harrison. This is not a good match up.

He may have just had a bad night against Chi, who knows. If he isn't shot, I think it's a decent matchup, and I give Brodie a shot, if however he is, then he'll get mullahed.

Still think it's a credible match. Remember that Brodie body attack that had even Chi under pressure - wonder how the very tight at the weight Harrison will react...

Well hopefully Silkov Brodie can present a stiffer challenge than Samuel Kebede and for that reason then i want to see this matchup, people are starting to come round to the fact that Harrison is seriously limited (myself included), when he gave out those controlled beatings to Victor Santiago, Julio Pablo Chacon, Wayne McCullough etc he looked the business but since that defeat to Medina he has never looked the same fighter to me. All i can picture now is a tired, bleeding Harrison lumbering forward in desperation at Polo in the 12th round totally devoid of ideas insisting on winning the rounds on "workrate", such an overused term these days often when a fighter is just not landing anything of note but huffing and puffing a lot.

If Brodie can mess him about and box from the outside then who knows where this fight could end up?

Agreed.

People are finally starting to realise what smarter people have been telling them all along. Harrison is seriously limited and although I believe he will beat Brodie, that doesn't prove much b/c Brodie, I believe, is very shot after his wars with Chi and I think he'll get taken out by harrison but I give him a slight chance. This doesn't mean Harrison is a great fighter by any means.

ive thought mike is on the downard slope now. too many wars.

I'd like to be wrong about this as I'd love to see Mike win but I just feel that Mike was on the wane even before the Chi fights. Even Trickett didn't sound overly confident in some comments I read on teletext... said it wouldn't be the easyish fight for Mike that it would have been two years ago. There just seems to be a vulnerbility about Mike these days, especially as the fights wear on.
