Rocky Marciano vrs Harry Haft(1949)/(? )broadcast fight

I was watching the documentary on the life and career of Rocky Marciano some time ago.
At one point they briefly show a newspaper advertisement for the Marciano -Harry Haft bout
(July-18-1949)
Providence Auditorium,Providence Rhode Island.
and right below it reads
"broadcast directly".
Anyone know if this fight was televised either locally or nationally?, or was it referring to a local radio broadcast?

Don't know about the footage but Harry claimed he was visited in his dressing room beforehand by mob like characters telling him to throw the fight. Not sure how true that was?
