Horse have you ever boxed?
Going by your Question i think you have'nt, it aint something you mean to do, you dont go out there thinking when where in close im going to head butt him, im going to let my body shots go a bit lower or im going to hit him when he's on the floor.. You dont think that it just happen's

Davies looked good, strong at the weight and can pack a punch. I was impressed with him cutting off the ring and landing his own shots. Great finishing shot!
Hall vs Davies should be a cracker

Re: gary davies ko's bell
is hall pencilled in to fight anyone else since he pulled out of the davies fight?
Re: gary davies ko's bell
No.Londonirish wrote:Horse have you ever boxed?
That sort of thing could get him disqualified. It was only a light punch, but it was a dumb thing to do.Londonirish wrote:Going by your Question i think you have, it aint something you mean to do, you dont go out there thinking when where in close im going to head butt him, im going to let my body shots go a bit lower or im going to hit him when he's on the floor.. Re: gary davies ko's bell
Horse, it weren't that big an issue, stop being picky.

Sorry was ment to write " Going by the question you have'nt".
If you had fought you would of known that this didnt come into his head to do it just happen's... But your right its a Silly thing to do and could get you disqualified but as i say it aint that you go in there thinking to do it...Horse wrote:Why did he bother doing it?
Re: gary davies ko's bell
It was an unusual incident, so I don't think it is being picky to mention it. I am not calling for Davies to be banned or anything, but he really shouldn't have done it.jBacca wrote:Horse, it weren't that big an issue, stop being picky.
It was a good win for Davies though. I am not trying to diminish the win.

He might have just tapped him, but he still shouldn't have done it.neil hibbert wrote:always one isnt there, he merely tapped him end of topic on that bit, great comeback won for gary gave 4 pound away and still got the win, lets see what the next few weeks brings as he deffo has to fight in my as hes geting married in june!
It was possibly the most pointless hitting of someone when they are down I have ever seen, it didn't seem to be in the heat of the moment either.

Really? You're making a big deal over that? He didn't hit him, he touched him.

Am I making a big deal over it? If no one had responded to my post I would have only mentioned it the once.kevo wrote:Really? You're making a big deal over that? He didn't hit him, he touched him.
He also hit him in the back when they were both on the floor. It seemed like an odd incident to me, so I thought that I would mention it.

Why do you feel the need to defend him so much?Londonirish wrote:![]()
