Jamie knows he has a shot here - there is absolutely nothing to lose and Frank Maloney, Dennis Hobson need props for first getting the fight and also telling Jamie to take it - his titles are not at risk for having a pop - and I honestly think he has a chance if the judges play fair.

Just spoke to Jamie - he has been reading this forum and of course the comments on Facebook.

Said all he heard were the 10 fans that went over to see him box and hopes there will be a lot more people to support him next time - he is over the moon with the result and wants to defend as soon as he has had a long rest - says he feels he has constantly been in the gym.

Kept thanking people for all of their support - and the comments on here after the Napa fight and prior to this one made him even more determined.

His final words were "Thank all those on the internet who wished me all the best!!"

Then spoke to Dennis Hobson - "that lad was dangerous and very few people gave Jamie a chance - but he simply was different class tonight and this will spur him onto to even bigger and better things - Jamie has grabbed his chances when he got them and thoroughly deserves the success he is now getting!!!
