Interesting, I can't wait 'till Mundine lands a good punch and the commentator exclaims "Oh, Mundines got Wood!"

Contender deal was bullshit.
There was no deal. Producers of the series needed a promoter for the final & he was the only one willing to put it on, so soon after the silly season. OZ promoters just don't wanna know January.
250k or whatever purse for winner to fight Mundine was just publicity shite.

Mundine can't afford to fight Wood......it would be ridiculed no end. His image is somewhat dented as is.

Yeah, but he's got 15 (12KO) record (wink)
In next lot of WBA ratings he'll most likely mysteriously appear at #10....maybe even higher?

gotta love it hey. how can he turn up in the top 10 anywhere? hasnt exactly fouhgt quality. but mundine will put it out as he a KO artist, and thousands will buy it hoping to see him get Ko'd, but it wont happen. after the medly fight i decided not to watch him again unless he fighting quality...... i guess ill never watch mundine again, haha. i "wood" watch the wood fight, if it were to happen, haha. just to see some wrestling, as it would appear thats the flavour of the moment

I agree with Popeye, I think Pirog is being vastly underestimated by you lot.

Pirog to put Mundine to sleep, this is defiantly will be Mundines toughest fight since Geale.
