NBA titles

From when 'til when where worldtitles "NBA worldtitles", because there are a lot of titlefights at boxrec just descibed as being for the "worldtitle" when in reality they were for the NBA title!

Around 1932 NBA titles were given out. Many states recognised NBA titleholders as world champs. Other states(Mostly NY) recognised other fighters as champion. NBA turned into WBA in 1962 I believe.

That's correct, but the NBA was formed again in 1993. The current NBA 'world' heavyweight champion is Saul Montana.
