Ah nice one mate. Good to hear he's decided against a comeback and that he's lost so much weight. Ricky Hatton take note!

good read looking forward to part 2

Good piece there for Tyson fans and it puts to bed the comeback rumours.
Cant think how old he looks in that picture? God only knows what toll that tragedy with his daughter took out of him.
He seems fairly peaceful though now.

Tyson looks older than bloody George Foreman - he's really aged rapidly since retiring.

Thanks guys, that was condensed because of space in the paper will post more tomorrow.
Cheers for your feedback....
I'm not sure how Tony found Tyson but he was everything I expected. He went from softly spoken giant to volatile, aggressive loon within five minutes, then back again.
He still has my copy of the Ring from 1987.

Tyson is the reason I became interested in Boxing. He's the reason why I'm fixed on this sport. He was a magnificent fighter at his best.
However, he's realistic to know he cannot box anymore & I'm glad he has stated such! I will remember him for the great fighter he was & not the fighter who lost to guys who would have literally shit themselves had he been anywhere near his peak!
He's virtually a certainty for the HOF soon, so I hope appreciates & enjoys that when it comes his way!
Looking forward to part 2 of the interview!

Trust me you will have made his day for letting him keep the magazine! I met in January & June 2000 & he see me with a magazine & in the mag was black & white pics of him & Cus when Mike was 13. He came up to me & asked if he could have it! At first I said NO, this is is one of my most cherished possessions. With that I could see the disappointment on his face, so i then changed my mind & said you can have it, Mike! Handing him the mag, he brought me the revolving doors at the back entrance to the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane & we sat down & spoke for about fifteen mins! It was awesome!Captain Hook wrote:Thanks guys, that was condensed because of space in the paper will post more tomorrow.
