White Canvas - NO!! Klitschko PPV - NO NO NO!!!!

Post by Finn »

why do the Klitschkos always have that white canvas when they fight its bloody hard to watch.

The more i watch the klitschkos the more i want David Haye to do a number on them. Haye would have demolished "fast" eddie in about 5 rounds and we might have even seen Haye get knocked down to add a bit of drama.

Can anyone tell me the last time a klitschko fight wasnt exactly like this one?

The only fights that people out there want to watch the klitschkos involved in are against Haye, Valuev or Povetkin. Hell i'd even be half interested if they fought Tyson Fury or Audley Harrison.

I think they've got a cheek demanding the money they do when they dont even make the fight entertaining.

Chambers beat Dimitrenko in a WBO final eliminator, so earned his shot at the belt.

The gulf in class is just too big between the challengers and the Klits nowadays.

i have to agree, but the guys who they fight have no guts. Admittedly the klits have a very difficult style to fight against however the last lot of fighters look like they didnt believe for a second they could win.

Surely with the gulf in talent they should be destroying the opposition not giving us 12 round borefests.

I dont think its true what you say about "if they were british" - the british people knock who ever they can and always love the underdog.

Im not knocking their talent im knocking the match ups, they wont fight each other, they wouldnt fight haye unless they had all the money and rediculous contracts, same with valuev. when the opposition is poor you have to make a statement.

Tyson was fighting crap fighters for a long time but at least he went in the ring and smashed them up.

it's just such a dead division at the moment.

the 2 brothers are dominating and good luck to em.

they use there physical gifts very well.

i think vitali is the better of the 2 brothers.

much tougher and a real handful.

wladimir is a lot more fragile and for me is a sitting duck against a bomber like david haye.

be interesting to see what brother haye gets first won't it. :OhYes:

yeah agree with that.

the haye negotiation left a bad taste in the mouth.

vitali's latest fight against sosnowski is a joke.

wladimir-chambers was acceptable enough.

but chambers offensively is just not good enough.

OK..but who could be a better opponent. Haye has a punchers chance v wladimir and no chance v vitali, its as simple as that.

i want haye to win, so badly, but if one of the brothers lands clean and big and early..then its goodnight mr haye !!

Well quite a few people seemed to go mental when Haye beat Valuev, in a performance far more boring than either of the Klitchsko's recent fights.

It's a shame they won't fight each other, that would be a good matchup, and as a consequence we are being deprived of the most meaningful bout out there.

After seeing how open wlad leaves himself these days i expect haye to spark him, vitali had trouble closing down Chambers - compared to chambers haye is like the flash!

The fight may have been boring but the match up was good. People tuned in to watch a giant fight a man, why do people tune in to watch the klits? well the answer is they dont.

Apart from that its only one of Haye fights that wasnt very exciting (imho opinion it was more exciting that the klits fights because there was still the chance he could get knocked out at any point) - the klits are hitting double figures for exceedingly boring fights

Klit v Valuev - worth buying - didnt happen (why? the klits asking for too much)
klit v Haye - worth buying - didnt happen (why? mainly due to setanta going bust but also the klits beyond stupid demands)
Klit v Klit - worth buying - wont happen.

At the end of the days if the the klits cant make fights with the 3 top fighters in the world then they need to think about giving people some value for money or entertainment with the fights they do make.

Valuev is NOT a good opponent, and Haye wouldn't last 4 rounds with either Klitschko if he engages. Realistically, Haye is no better than Arreola was, and worse than Chagaev as an opponent for a Klitschko.

Someones been smoking th wacky backy, haye is the fastest heavyweight there is and widely believed to have the hardest punch of any fighter.

Valuev would be a good opponent for the klits because of his size and the fact he wont just stand against the ropes getting jabbed by someone that dwarfes him, plus its the the only fight that would be any different to the klits last 8 or 9 fights.

What are you on about johnson was landing his left almost everytime he threw it infact it was probably the only hand he threw. Chambers looked tiny and has nowhere near hayes speed wlad was having trouble closing him down (note he didnt ko him until the dying moments of the last round).

Valuev threw next to no punches in his last two outings. I don't understand why you think he wouldn't just stand there. Against much smaller opponents, and in the case of Holyfield, an opponent who is not a top ten boxer and past his prime, Valuev threw about 10 punches a round, with about nine of them being jabs. Why would he suddenly spring into action against the two best heavyweights in the world, who would also happen to be two of the biggest opponents he has faced.

I didnt say he would spring into action i said he wouldnt stand against the ropes getting battered. Are you telling me you wouldnt like to see the klits fight someone larger than them for once?
