Valuev threw next to no punches in his last two outings. I don't understand why you think he wouldn't just stand there. Against much smaller opponents, and in the case of Holyfield, an opponent who is not a top ten boxer and past his prime, Valuev threw about 10 punches a round, with about nine of them being jabs. Why would he suddenly spring into action against the two best heavyweights in the world, who would also happen to be two of the biggest opponents he has faced.
I didnt say he would spring into action i said he wouldnt stand against the ropes getting battered. Are you telling me you wouldnt like to see the klits fight someone larger than them for once?
I don't really see why it matters if he's getting battered against the ropes as opposed to being in the middle of the ring. It would be interesting to see the Klitschko's fight opponents who are bigger than themselves, but unfortunately the few fighters who are bigger happen to be terrible.

Interesting you should say that, 'cos I've held forth for a long time that fighting Valuev would bother the wossname out of Vitali. VK spreads his legs like a Friday night brass & leans back from the waist to avoid punches; it's virtually his only defence. He gets away with it, natch, 'cos his limbs are so long & he waves his left hand at you. Valuev, I feel, would be able to reach him with the jab & straight right (well, as near as Valuev can get to a straight right) down the pipe. Also, Vitali is about eleventy trillion years old, & I would quite like to see him get pushed around in the clinches circa the tenth or eleventh & see how he holds up. Plus, as I've said about a billion times, Vitali is an arm puncher. A huge great big strong arm puncher, but an arm puncher. His punching technique is pure kickboxer. I am certain he couldn't hurt Valuev & would indeed have a torrid time with the dude.

Wlad however, is a different kettle of fish. He can generate torque via his own bodyweight (ie. is a much harder, more natural puncher) & is much faster & more mobile than big bro'. I feel he'd absolutely destroy Nicolai, beat him to pieces with the jab & avoid the incoming for a late stoppage. But the older one (who I accept is generally more fighter of the two, & the better overall)? I think it'd be a lot more interesting than a lot of Klitschko supporters would have you believe.
