The fights were held in the ETA Stadium, and promoted by Lionheart Promotions here in Auckland New Zealand.
The fight was supposed to be me and Danial Tai for the PABA title, but Tai busted his hand before the fight.
I, Chauncy Welliver, fought Shane Wijohn and won a 6 round decision over him for the World Boxing Empire Youth Heavyweight championship. I weighed 115kg, while he weighed 120 kg. In the Co Main, Santos Pakau made his return, and stopped Cory Burton in 2 rounds. In a debut, Steve Heremia stopped Ali Niza in the 2nd round.
In the 4 man heavyweight tournament, Frank Atu beat Vai Toavai, and Richard Tutaki beat Sam Leui both 3 round decisions.
In the final Frank Atu beat Richard Tutaki over 3 round decision.
