Tyson Comeback ?

Post by Neri »

Rumours of Tyson fighting Bob Mirovic in his comeback fight on June 20th. could be just rumours though. Mirovic first has to come through a bout with Timo hoffman on the beyer - green undercard. Win or lose Mirovic would probably still be approved by tyson's camp though since he wants some easy fights first

Well, he chose Danny Williams as an easy fight, and he wasn't from USA.

What would the Tyson fans excuse be if he lost to Mirovic???? Man that'd be the funniest thing to happen ever. And not just in boxing.

I imagine any of the following phrases will be used.

"Stop da hating you gay Lennox nuthuggers"
"Prime Mike Tyson would have KO'd Bob in one round"
"Tyson only lost because he has been inactive"
"When Tyson's mentaly right he hits withh 3000lbs per square inch of force"
"Tyson should get back with Rooney, then have a few easy fights to shake off the ringrust rust"
"Tyson only lost becase he got cut/injured/caught with a lucky/low blow"
"2006 will be the year of Mike Tyson"
"Gay fag lennox is to scared to comeback cos Tyson will KO him"

Just take your pick. :TU:

Yeah it's sad really, this time Jeff Fenech has the task of reigniting the Tyson propoganda wagon, i mean i no longer have the remotest interest in what this guy does since he was KO'd by Danny Williams...no disrespect to Danny it was a great win but Tyson is shot to pieces and should just retire. Don't know if they want to face Mirovic in Oz but i heard the Austalian immigration are none too keen on letting Tyson loose over there.

Very poor fight for me after seeing Mirovic against Skelton.

Why has he got a shot against Hoffman and why do Boxrec rate him as high as 64? his record is very average.

Didn't Mirovic have Williams in trouble in the early rounds before being hit low a few times. I was drunk when i watched this fight so i cant really remember that much so i might be wrong. Tyson if he trains well should be able to beat Mirovic and if he dosn't then give up for good as Mirovic is just a tough journey man.

Williams just did nothing but get beaten up for a few rounds, didn't seem to even be trying, then he seemed to say 'fornicate it' to himself and just unloaded on Mirovic and the ref stopped it.

Mirovic was giving Skelton a few problems before he quit if he remember rightly but if Tyson cannot dispose of him then there is no hope left...what your seeing from Tyson now is the formality ending of the faded Heavyweight hero...carrying on clinging to a dream he and everyone else knows is long over  It's so sad.

When Lennox Lewis beat Mike Tyson, didn't some claim Mike Tyson had been drugged?

Some said he was on a mood controling drug, the name of which I cannot remember. One of the side effects of this said drug is a feeling of 'sluggishness', apparentley.

Zoloft if i recall.

I much preferred the "if Tyson could have only got down to 225lbs he'd have smashed Lummox's china chin" variety. But they're both entertaining.

Hey :x What's with all the talk of Tyson  . Doesn't Big Bob get a mention anywhere here? :x

Here it is: Big Bob Mirovic is an opponent for Tyson to feast on. And the sad part is, Big Bob has a decent chance of winning :-?

I agree, but how sad is it that we are the point in MT's career where we can have a discussion about his chances against BM?

Its not that hard to believe really, Bob is a big strong guy, Tyson cuts up easy and if its scheduled for longer than 4rnds who`s to say what could happen, sad that he`s still fighting, and at this level.

I met Bob at a pub in Perth when he fought here and he is a huge bastard if he can last 3 rounds he is in with a chance, Maybe Tyson should start fighting 4 rounders at least then he would win more than lose. :o :o

I think anyone who can last 3 rounds has a good chance these days, Tyson just unravels after that.

Yes, but I don't give Bob a chance of lasting that long. Isn't he older than Mike? He has gone down in the past and is so easy to hit Joe Bugner beat him fairly comfortably.

Tyson KO 1.

This is as bad as Tyson vs McBride, IMO.

Everyone thought Danny Williams was a sacrificial lamb and look what happened there

Big Bob :D has no right being in the same ring as Tyson but if he happened to stumble upon a win against him, he'll instantly become Mr Popularity down here and the media would go apeshit about him ("next big thing" "Big Bob in HW title picture" "Morivoc (they're bound to spell his name wrong at some point) to fight Vitali")

Bob 'The Mirror' Mirovic will have to 'reflect' Tyson's best shots if he is to win this! Tyson 'The Mike' may KO him early though!

This fight would be a slaughter, in my opinion..... It would be like Tyson vs. Sammy Scaff all over again!!!

I'm about as excited at the prospect of Tyson's latest comeback as an anorexic at a pie eating competition.
