Thought we were lagging behind current scene with this type of question, you know..."how much money does a K-1 fighter with a 16oz punch bag made of tar and a punch velocity of (x-y squared) minus the hight of Julius Long make...variety so...
How many weight divisions should there be in professional boxing? How big a gap is medically safe? And (for the car...) how many divisions were there in the old days before 20 new sanctioning bodies made boxing better and introduced juniorsupercruiserweight divisions and the like?

it doesn't really matter since cotto came in at 157lbs for a 140lbs fight
maybe we should be talking about when fighter weight in. i'd go for the morning off the fight, and if the fighter doesn't make the weight then tuff tit, more often than not a fighter has a fair time to train and get the weight off,if he doesn't the fight gets pulled and the boxer loses his purse also if he can't make the weight then he's in the wrong division
