Proud WBF champ remember, he beat the Dutch Sonny Liston to win that one! And Prizefighter! Yep he's not made it in the pro ranks but he's just a fighter trying to sell himself and he was too old anyhow at 29 to make a decent run at the heavyweight title.

i was down to interview him one Sunday when he was out of the Olympics and it was cancelled as he'd hurt his shoulder doing a celebrity fitness challenge where super-fit gym rats take on professional athletes. Think Aud overdid it trying to lift weights doing bench presses and his shoulder went 'pop'. It was a very bad injury and set him back months and sure you can see the scar on his shoulder to this day. Not a lot has been made of it but I think that kind of killed off any real chances he had to get right to the top.

that's a real interesting point DirtSugar, one I and plenty of others will have been unaware of.

I followed Harrison early on naturally curious and hoping he would do well. Really took the shine off for me when after so much smack talk he defeated a Danny Williams, who was on about 3 weeks' notice I believe, then instead of being humble he said .........."World Champion 2008, undisputed 2009" ........the year might be wrong but you get my drift.
That's really a shocking way to run your mouth after so many unbacked up boasts and claims.
