What kind of money is the Hayemaker making now ?
Back when Haye was fighting the likes of Mormeck he was only earning modest money
But now he is Heavyweight Champ he seems to be a full out Celeb cruising the Celeb circuit mixing with sexy old birds like Pamela Anderson.
And socialising with multi millionaires Ant and Dec.
He just gave his mate and employee Danny Watts a £50,000 Merc to get about in.
Haye owns a nice property in Cyprus I understand - and has his own Bentely given to him.
He has obviously broken into a new tax bracket these days.
Credit to Haye - I never thought he was good enough to reach this level - I always knew he was very explosive and exciting to watch - but in a car crash kind of way - I always believed him too flawed to become a Undisputed Crusierweight Champ and Heavyweight Champ.
But well done to Haye for proving the doubters wrong.
But I am just wondering what kind of earning level he is on now.
How much do you reckon he has earnt so far - up until this point - in and out of the ring with comemrcial deals ?
And anyone any idea how much he is getting for fighting John Ruiz ?
Is Haye making millions now ?

He gambled with the Sky Box Office deal,on a percentage, and worked his butt off promoting it.It paid off, especially when the public saw the size of Valuev and the curiosity made many more buy it.He also got a lot of money for beating that bloke in your shed,as Fwank was convinced David was dead at the weight. As for the Ruiz bout,The tickets have gone remarkebly well.In Manchester as well...he has crossed over

It was Colin Jones who trained in my back garden shed - not Maccarenelli.
But yes - I know he got paid around £800,000 or so for blowing away Enzo - but since he has become heavyweight champ I am sure he is earning even more.
It was quoted in the paper - he made £3 million for Valuev.
But I wonder how much he as made outside the ring - since he was champ - with commercial deals. etc.
And against Ruiz - probaly another 7 figure purse.
A long way to go to match Naseem Hameds earnings though - who earnt around £40 million.
And Lennox Lewis earnt over £100 million.

He'll get about 800k for the Ruiz fight. He got about 3million for Valuev. Nothing much really.

It will be interesting to see what numbers it does PPV wise for this event. Those adverts are uninspiring to say the least
Re: What kind of money is the Hayemaker making now ?
yeah i agree with you there, it wont sell half as much as the valuev fight imo. but saying that if he does a convincing job on ruiz and then sets up a mega fight with either kilt, the numbers could return.

I think with Klit they will just play up the Ivan Drago likeness, especially with Vladimir/ Its cheesy to us anoraks but to the public it could work.
But as for how much he is making. Porbably in its millions now

So what ?
No-one is claiming that this thread is going down as a Boxrec all time great thread ..........so what on earth you banging on about ?
It was just a simple curious question.
And yes - a bit of envy I have in general to all wealthy people - but everyone can feel a bit of envy its human nature.
But I am mature enough not to let envy turn me into a hater............good luck to Haye - great for him to make millions -
Re: What kind of money is the Hayemaker making now ?
I'm delighted for him. He made his own way to whatever he has earned which is no mean feat in boxing.FLINT ISLAND wrote:good luck to Haye - great for him to make millions -

a ppv sale is £15 rouded up
if he gets £5 from ever sale he will make millions again
only 500 thousand ppv sales makes him £2.5m

Plus the fact that the MEN is basically sold out will help him.boxerbob wrote:a ppv sale is £15 rouded up

Re: What kind of money is the Hayemaker making now ?

Cleared anout £4.5M when all said and done, so I hear.
He is a rich man. Is the a new Car ? Or was it £50K when new? My friend has a Cayenne Turbo that he poaid £115K for several yearsd ago - its worth a 10th of that now.

Re: What kind of money is the Hayemaker making now ?
Haye deserves as much as any of our past stars. It is very seldom we get true fighters like him willing to take on all comers, i'd like to think that when they come along they will be duly rewarded. Unfortunate'ly its not that simple, but i am sure Haye is earning well, and will continue to for as long as he remains on top.

Its a Boxrec "in joke" you have him trussed up in the shed.FLINT ISLAND wrote:mickey1975 wrote:He gambled with the Sky Box Office deal,on a percentage, and worked his butt off promoting it.It paid off, especially when the public saw the size of Valuev and the curiosity made many more buy it.He also got a lot of money for beating that bloke in your shed,as Fwank was convinced David was dead at the weight. As for the Ruiz bout,The tickets have gone remarkebly well.In Manchester as well...he has crossed over![]()

I like Haye and its good to see him doing well and earning big bucks, its a great achievment to be an undesputed champ and then 2 weight world champ.
Just wish Carl Thompson had earned any were near to what Haye is earning now.
The Cat is a true warrior and who could see haye being what is now after that fight?

He deserves every penny He gets, good luck to Him
Re: What kind of money is the Hayemaker making now ?
a lot of the money will go to haye, and another load will go to hayemaker...of which haye obviously has a financial interest.
