Haye V's Ruiz Betting

Post by Hagler2002 »

I really like the look of Haye on points @ 5/2. For me he still has to prove his power at heavyweight and at world level. Ruiz is no mug and with only one stoppage defeat on his record 14yrs ago it certainly represents the value bet.

Its not a bad bet, but a tad skinny, 3/1 would be more attractive. My only concern would be that Haye might be looking to close the show in style. He was widely criticsed for his performance against Valuev (not by me i should say) and is possibly looking to impress here with a big KO, its in his nature is'nt it?

Still, i reckon he'll end up with a points win. Ruiz is a wiley old character and has hung with the best of them over the years, Haye will do well to take him out. He better just be careful he does not get to carried away and burn himself out!

i personally think haye will stop ruiz, but the odds for that are crap so the point win is definatly the best value bet.
