Re: WBC and the Wife beater/drunk.
Has he been convicted of any crime?DGsFanClub wrote:World Boxing Council President Jose Sulaiman has commented of boxing superstar Edwin Valero’s six month enforced stay in a rehab center to deal with alcoholism. Far from taking an action against Valero, the WBC head has further ratified that Valero remains WBC lightweight champion in recess and supports his rehab with the aim to become “an example for the young people of the world, with the determination and courage of a winner and great champion he has been.” Sulaiman, on behalf of the WBC, is also offering whatever is necessary to help Valero in his therapy.
Re: WBC and the Wife beater/drunk.

Yeah because he is the first world champ ever to get in trouble with the police
What are you implying? That because others have been in trouble before its ok?What do you think the response would be if this were....Tyson? They would hang him high - Amir Khan? Hang him high! PBF? hang him high. Remember his fists are classed as lethal wepons.
Re: WBC and the Wife beater/drunk.
If it was the KKK that would be the responce with the names of the fighters your mentioning
Dont want to go down that road though its a tongue in cheek post
Anyway on a serious answer
Im one for believeing a fighter shouldnt be stripped of there title for crimes outside of Boxing
They should be dealt with in the courts.
i know they are representing Boxing also but its there Job at the end of the day
what they do ouside of Boxing is at there Risk by the Law.
Im sure there will be different opions on this thiough
