As daft as it might sound, given his reputation,i met Negus once and he was a lovely bloke.Showed a real appreciation that i had even recognised him.Wouldnt want to cross him though... :KO:

His 'Milky Bar kid' nickname doesnt do his menacing reputation justice either.

I would be interested to see that fight between former pros myself.

Should make it onto youtube I would have thought...

I had exactly the same experience once. Genuine surprise that I recognised him and couldn't be nicer, but just like you...wouldn't like to cross him!

He is a nice bloke indeed... used to watch him down the Tavern where my uncle used to fight, and keep seeing him through the security work he does at various shows.

For a former cruiserweight (albeit a big one) that is way too heavy for Negus to be effective IMO. I have seen a few of Chris P Bacons unlicensed fights and he always looks to be in good shape.

Would still be interested in seeing the fight though - can you let me know when it is up on the youtube?

Negus openly admits he "juiced" for the Harrison fight. Its not out of the question he does it regularly.I bet the testing is non existent

Bacon has been a good all round combat athlete over the years, but said beforehand that last night was his last one
