I am not sure what weight Rau'shee Warren will be boxing at in Reno - 112, 119, or 125. The male boxers in Reno consist of Vasquez (not ranked), Byrd (#1), Warren (#3), Garza (#3 - boxing in both duals), Martinez (#2), Herring (#5), Alicea (#2), Hart (#2), Brant (#1), Charles (#3) and Thompson (#5).

The team in Harvey had more #1's than the team in Reno. It will be difficult for the USA team in Reno to win the dual, but a few more wins would be great. I think Alicea will win as the Italian at 152 is not world ranked or anything. Hart has a good chance of winning at 165 against another Italian who is not in the world elite class. Brant will be wanting revenge for his loss to Fiori in Italy and he might just get it. Herring has an Italian opponent who isn't one of their most experienced so he has a good chance. Garza lost a close bout so he could pull it out this time in Reno. Warren will have a good chance of winning, but it won't be easy if he boxes Picardi, but I think he will be going against Parrinello and I look for Rau'shee to win.

Thompson and Charles are going against two of the best boxers in the world and will have their hands full. Martinez too has an awfully strong opponent in Valentino who is another top Italian - ranked #2 in the world.

Gausha was able to turn the tables on Podda and defeat him in Harvey so maybe Louie Byrd can do the same thing and defeat Picardi.

USA v Italy in Reno, scheduled bouts:
USA's boxers vs. Italy's boxers
132-Female: Mikeala Mayer vs. Romina Marenda
112: Santos Vasquez vs. Vincenzo Picardi
112: Louie Byrd vs. Alex Feramosca
125: Rau'shee Warren vs. Alessio DiSavino
132: Adrian Martinez vs. Domenico Valentino
141: Jamel Herring vs. David Cencianelli
152: Eduardo Alicea vs. Diego Di Luisa
165: Jesse Hart vs. Luca Podda
178: Robert Brant vs. Simone Fiori
201: Javonta Charles vs. Clemente Russo
201+: Lenroy Thompson vs. Roberto Cammarelle

Louie Byrd should be boxing Picardi. Having Byrd go up against a weaker Italian boxer makes no sense. Our #1 should be boxing their #1.

I'm not sure what happened, but I've heard that Parrinello couldn't box in the Reno dual. USA Boxing then moved Rau'shee Warren up to 125 to box DiSavino since Garza had already boxed DiSavino in Harvey, IL. Too bad because I had thought that Garza would get the victory over DiSavino this time. We will see how Warren does with him.

International duals typically have 4 officials, 2 from each country. During a bout, if Country A has an official who is the ref, then country A will have 1 judge and country B will have 2 judges. They usually alternate after each bout. Sometimes you can look at the results and figure out which bouts had 2 judges from which country. I will give you an example and see if you can guess which bouts had 2 judges from France and which ones had 2 judges from Ukraine:
48kg Jeremy Beccu FRA defeated Denis Shkarubo UKR 13:3
51kg Olexandr Grishchuk UKR defeated Julien Come FRA 11:3
54kg Ivan Kabanchuk UKR defeated Nordine Ait-Ihya FRA 10:7
60kg Redouane Farahni FRA defeated Serhiy Kravets UKR 10:2
64kg Andrey Lukyanchuk UKR defeated Hassan Amzile FRA 6:3
69kg Alexis Vastine FRA defeated Taras Golovashchenko UKR 20:4
75kg Sergey Derevyanchenko UKR defeated Michel Tavares FRA 6:3
81kg Ludovic Groguhe FRA defeated Sergiy Lapin UKR RSC 2
91kg Olexandr Usyk UKR defeated Arsen Goulamirian FRA 12:1
+91kg Zied Jouini FRA defeated Roman Kapitanenko UKR 9:4
