So it's ok for a non boxer to give an opinion on a fighter but not a boxer?
I give my honest opinion on Dilks as someone who has boxed with him from a junior and NO disrespect is intended trust me, just an honest opinion.
hurlock wrote: you said you'd ko quig & dodson on the same night live on radio if im not mistaken
You are mistaken yes.
hurlock wrote:everyone in the game knows fw can make the magee, but surelly you want to win the lonsdale outright???it seem's you would rather take a gamble on m,agee.

Magee is still a notch on my Lonsdale belt if I fight him, also a European title. They are the fights I want.

Off Topic Smigga, but did you manage to see the Merseyside and Cheshire Am finals?

If so, who was looking good? I know Fowler got lucky against your Callum, but i've heard he looked quality on Thurs.

On a serious note, I didn't say it anywhere at all along the line and a local prick of a reporter is currently searching for the radio reports of me saying it, and of course can't find them. I didn't say it, simple as that.

Owning a Lonsdale belt is a brilliant achievement in boxing. Anyone will agree to that

Got to agree with that one.

I think the Brian Magee fight has to be made and I hope "The Promoters" concerned can come to some form of agreement. ;;-)

Both fighters want the fight - lets get it on.

Both parties are extremely interested in the fight - purse bids situation will sort out any conflicts with regards promotional responsibilities.

It will be sad if that happens because I feel we will then be fed bullsh*t opponents for Smith for spurious intercontinental belts and the British Super Middleweight Division is heating up nicely and for the purposes of the sport and some of the "rucks" that have happened on here  - it will be good to see who is genuinally the best Super Middleweight outside of course Carl Froch.

It's a good time to be a fan of the Super-Middles! Magee winning the European belt was incredible, but lets not forget he is a bit fragile!

Smigga beating Dodson for the British belt was brilliant, considering the circmumstances...yes the cards were harsh on Tony, but the right man won

Dilks and Dodson will still have plenty to offer...while Groves wins tonight and becomes a champ!

I wonder who last man standing will be???
