Why did Jim Watt give Hatton the first round? Branco shook him up quite big.

Hold bitch, hold!

I like Watt.........I have never really picked up on any suggested negativity toward Rhodes, there again I haven't watched all Rhodes fights either.

Watt calls a fight lovely for me. I really enjoy his cool, unflustered manner and I enjoy the insight he gives about what X or Y should be doing to counter their opponent. He brings a lot to the table for me, that and the fact most fighters he watches week in week out whether here or the big shows in America, he would have beat the crap out of....but he's never big headed about it.

Keep it up Watty :TU:

The most fun to be had during their commentary is betting at which point in the contest Smith turns to Watt and says:

"Jim, could it just come down to who wants it more?"

Ha, yeah, he says the same things in every fight. He also always says, ''that jab he honed in the amateurs''.

Antony Small made a rod for his own back by pretending to be Roy Jones in the ring and Muhammed Ali out of it, he pulls neither effort off and his trainer doens't appear to be doing him any favours either.

He started his career pretty well too, but he's fortunate that the light middle divsion is a baron wasteland, he wouldn't have got a lookin in the late 90's, early 00's
