I watched the premier episode of the contender. In it Alfonso Gomez beat Peter Manfredo Jr. At the start of the show Sugar Ray Leonard said that these fights actually count on their records. Is boxrec.com going to count them?

We counted the "Next Great Champ" fights, so I am sure if these fights are legit, we will add them to our database.

Yes, these are all legit fights. The California commission will be sending reports of all the Contender results.

Did we ever get reports on the "Next Great Champ", since those bouts are still listed as date unknown?

I put them up today.
The actual fights took place in July and were aired in Sept., Oct. & Nov.
