Really respected guys like Billy Graham and Buddy McGirt always talk about his power.Im not doubting them,but have lost a few quid when backing him to win inside the distance

Just because fights go the distance doesn't mean someone can't punch, dean Phillips, Geoff McReesh, Paul Welsey, minisculee stoppage percentages but big bangers... look at Jon Thaxton. Paul is strong as eff you can see it if you look closely on Sky. Thats why opponents are prob so keen to hold.

I respect every pro,im just saying,the real bangers,like Graham and McGirt claim Smith to be,would be stopping the lads he's going the distance with.I rate Paul,i just think with the way his trainers go on,we should be getting some highlight reel clips

Smith should only really be looking at Magee. Neither of them really has any other meaningful fights on the agenda and it could pull a decent crowd in Liverpool or Belfast. The winner could then maybe look for a fight with Bute.

Unless Smith is made maditory for the Euro I cant see the Magee fight coming off due to the problems with Warren/Hatton, I think Magee would beat Smith by wide points based on each of there last performace.

Dilks is doing exactly what Dodson did, mouthing off to get a shot at a title.
I don't rate him, never did as an amateur when we all boxed together in uzbekistan, carl showed no heart and belief in himself yet again.
At super middle he has had one fight and regardless of what we think, on paper he lost. Now he fights a kid 5-4 and thinks that warrants a british title fight.
Go and fight Quigley, or Dodson..... In my opinion BOTH beat Dilks.

Smith and Magee will be a good one, and the run he's on a I fancy Smith to pinch that on points. Magee is no mug though, and to say he's shot is wide of the mark.

Bit of banter between the Liverpool lads but all three - Smith, Bellew and Dilks - are good pros, all have talent but they are in totally different places IMO.

Dilks is behind Paul by 3/4 fights and Bomber is too big for both of them and has his eyes on light-heavy glory......

I respect that and wish other people in my division would be more honest, You'll hear no more about fighting me from my end!!

Groves is beatable BUT if he fights Paul next which I do doubt then he'll get exposed!! Paul has an awful lot of experience from every angle, From cuts,to contender to long fights to short fights to a hard fight and he's always found a way to win, Im not even gonna get on the Bendall fight cos I was on the first row for the whole fight and Paul won that fight, Quigley is one of the most underated boxers in the country and Dodson is the biggest supermiddle weight in the country and on both occasions Paul found a way to turn it all in his favour.. I think next stop for Paul is European or World title so all the talk of another derby is completely out of the question...
