Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
Haye showed power - but everyone knows he is a banger.
Apart from that = Ruiz showed Haye is no-where near as fast as he thinks he is.
He run out of ideas - couldnt do much with Ruiz for much of the fight.
He couldnt land on Ruiz for much of the fight.
Carrys that left hand way too low - Ruiz actually clipped Haye in the early rounds (maybe 2nd) and he stumbled back and only the ropes kept him up.
He was blowing - his stamnia is poor.
Basically - Roy Jones clowned and schooled a prime Ruiz.
Haye was a bit struggling to master a old Ruiz.
I dont see how anyone can say that Haye was convincing enough to fancy him to beat any of the Kiltishcko brothers.

give it a rest mate, why are all your post's on hating haye
end of the day haye done what you would expect from a world class heavyweight, simple as that.
he is lazy & dont push himself past his comfort to finish the line which may put him in trouble v the younger heavies.

1 Power is enough with WLAD if you land.FLINT ISLAND wrote:Haye showed power - but everyone knows he is a banger.

2 Speed of hand and foot
3 Hunger
4 Ring smarts
5 Bottle
6 Confidence
7 Did you let Enzo out of your shed for Easter?
8 Stood on his foot and he stumbles into ropes - not a punch.
I agree - HAYE has nothing to bother the Klitschko's.

Complete arse, on that performance Wlad would be out within three rounds IMO...

What Haye did show was a safety first approach. He could have finished Ruiz earlier, having him trapped in his own corner; but, he froze and refused to follow up. He can't afford to do that against Vlad and Vit.
There was nothing in this performance that would bother the Klitschkos offensively. His running and staying away could frustrate the big men from Ukraine; but, that won't win him a fight.

Blimey. What a way out prediction. He missed a stationary Ruiz so much, how would he even reach Wladimir.
Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
haye would smash wlad on that performance.. wlad has no chin! corey sanders and lemont brewster, enough said
Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
I think Haye should rematch Enzo at heavy then maybe FI will shut the fcuk up
Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
yes give is an effing rest.
first heavyweight title fight in britain for ages and all you can talk about is the other champs.
the K2 bros aren't exactly the truth, they'd be gone by now if their opponents had actually tried to land punches on them - and they weren't exactly fighting big names in the infancy of their title reigns were they?
haye can make big money vs one of the brothers, and if he puts up a good showing in defeat, HAYE: THE COMEBACK will be an event, and he can do more things when they retire. this is a 2 weight champion still learning, so let's give him a few breaks, eh?

Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
Haye has fought faster people than the Klits though and they havnt landed.
whos to say the klits would land.
Most cruisers Haye has fought are faster.
valuev was bigger.
I admit if he got caught haye would go but its the catching him.
He would have to be lighter and faster than last night though

Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
Vitali could be a struggle, but Wladimir will end up being stopped by Haye
Sure, Ruiz is way past his best, but was always a limited abiet strong fighter with tough durability. The Klitschko's are just as limited as Ruiz, but are stronger mentally and physically and have'nt shipped as much punishment. Haye has flaws and is essentially reliant on his punch power, but he has enough in his bag of tricks to out-wit the Klitschko's brothers..........
I said after he moved up to heavyweight that Haye would win a world title and the smart money is on him to beat the Klitschko's aswell.

I agree it was in no way a perfect performance and there were plenty of mistakes, but Wlad is nowhere near as durable as Ruiz, he hasn't got the cajones.....gobbles wrote:Captain Hook wrote:Complete arse, on that performance Wlad would be out within three rounds IMO...

Much more skill, power and ability.....but I doubt he'd have got up from that first shot Haye landed.

The Klits are bloody awful, with the odd flash of ability and power.....they are lucky nobody ever shows any desire against them.
Haye is a lot better and while he makes mistakes, he is a fantastic fighter.
Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
Haye brings power, youth, speed, confidence, hunger. He has plenty either Klitschko will want to exploit, but the idea that he didn't/ hasn't shown anything to worry the Klitschko's is ridiculous. He's a legitimate threat and whichever brother gets the dubious honour of fighting him first is going to have plenty to think about.
Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
But what the Klits do, particularly Wladimir now (as opposed to 5 years ago), is use their height so well. Ruiz found Haye easily with the jab, and no one has a better jab than Wladimir.Captain Hook wrote:well said...Autobarn wrote:yes give is an effing rest.

Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
He's so robotic though mate, and Haye - again while at times reckless - would find a way to get past it. I think a lot of it would be psychological.
Haye would turn up in great shape, believing he will win....
Who was the last guy to face Wlad with that in their arsenal?

Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
I really wanted to be impressed by Haye lastnight. After his Valuev showing last time .. well lets just say the Hayemaker t-shirt as been pushed to the back of the wardrobe..FLINT ISLAND wrote:Haye showed power - but everyone knows he is a banger.

The thing is. Ruiz was the perfect opponent for Haye to look good against. Ruiz walked in straight lines towards Haye with his hands quite low also..
Yes, Haye is a very good puncher
But at heavyweight he is now a very much safety minded counter-puncher. He was able to get away with this so far because Valuev was slower than you could ever imagine .. and as said, Ruiz was just made for him
I can understand some people claiming Haye would beat one or both of the K-Brothers .. thats just called blind patriotism.
Both K-Brothers would make haye come to them. They have the reach and jab to score enough if he tries to do the same tactics as he did against Valuev .. and if he tried to take it to any of them ... he gets mullered :(
Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
I may be being a bit naive, but I'm trying to think that Haye was playing a particular game-plan against Ruiz, and one he most definitely wouldn't use against the Klits.
Apart from his low guard, I thought Haye did look pretty puffed out after a few rounds against Ruiz. It's a bit of a worry, because one would imagine he'll be taken to the trenches by either Klit and be left wide open for a knockout in the late rounds. I dunno, maybe it is my imagination, but he STILL doesn't seem to have particularly good stamina. Is this a genetics thing or could training fix this? (Pardon my ignorance on the last point!)

I acknowledge Haye has got alot of power - heavy handed guy.Jesus wrote:you seem to forget Haye is the first person to stop ruiz inside the distance since david tua nearly 15 years ago!!!!
But there is more to a fighter than how hard he punches otherwise Earnie Shavers would be the greatest fighter of all time.
He done well to power shot Ruiz with some heavy bombs and stop him - however it did take the Ruiz corner to show compassion rather than Haye bombing him out.
My point is - based on his all around performance last night - I acutally thought he looked
A bit on the fat side
No-where near as fast - when he is up against world class guy like Ruiz (anyone can look fast against Valuev)
Probaly sacrficed some of his speed because he came in chubby
Looked one dimensional throughout most of the fight -
Put togther the odd powerful cluster of punches - but alot of the time he was on the back foot and missing Ruiz
How does he get past Wlads jab -
How much will he run against Vitali

Haye did what he said he would do and stopped a tough, extremely brave fighter in a thrilling fight, he stopped ruiz fighting on the inside and took him to school.
Was anyone there last night? the atmosphere was awesome, im pretty sure there were alot of people on this site saying haye couldnt fill and arena? looked sold out to me!
Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
haye is riding on the crest of a wave after beating 2 or 3 opponents that were tailor made for him, unfortunately the klitschko brothers are a different level to hayes recent opponents.
against wladimir haye has a punchers chance and that is about it, wladimir is a better boxer, better stamina, is more suited to the 'long route', knows how to hold, how to rest and take a break. i say its an 70/30 fight in wladimirs favour....and that is being generous to haye.
against vitali haye has very little chance, vitali is unorthodox, hits very firmly and has a good chin, i honestly dont see it even going 3 rounds. its a 95/05 fight in vitalis favour.
i so so want haye to beat the pair of them, but in all honesty, i cant see it happening, although the wladimir fight would be entertaining while it lasted, as i know haye would go out on his shield !!

He wouldnt, one jab would put him in his shell.Haye's chin is hardly Oliver Mcall's.Corrie Sanders and Brewster hit a lot harder than Mock,Thompson,Mormeck, etc. He also got up three times from Sam Peters shots,a known banger, and in the last,a time Haye will be blowing out of his arse.Im not a big fan of either Klit, but they are supreme athletes and i think all wrong for Haye, they know it as wellidle talk wrote:haye would smash wlad on that performance.. wlad has no chin! corey sanders and lemont brewster, enough said
Re: Haye didnt show anything to worry the Klit Brothers
think haye would get beat by both the klits he needs the fight not to happen and make it look like its the klits fault he should fight the likes or arreola, adamek, chambers and chagev untill vitali looks like hes on the slide
