Alex Mbaya listed on boxrec lost to Tali Makusudi by KO in the 4th. The Alex Mbaya that fought on my card last weekend and beat Soon Botes by TKO 5th had never fought such an opponent, and his Congolese record shows he never fought anyone during 2005. Please can you make a separate page/record for Alex Mbaya as there are obviously 2 fighters from the congo with the same name and some record details such as birth name were used for the wrong Alex Mbaya, and the recent win has also been put under the wrong Alex Mbaya.He beat SOON BOTES via TKO 5th round, not 8th as has been incorrectly posted.

His record going into the Soon Botes fight was 10(8)-2. All previous fights took place in the Congo, Gabon, Rwanda.

just browsing on this section , i noticed you have put different info for mbaya just 5 days ago , including stating his fight ended in round 6 yet on this thread you say round 5 ,even with a different record , the only similarity was the opponent and that it was tko , im no mod , im nothing to do with boxrec , just a regular poster , thought i would point it out though as this is exactly the sort of thing that makes boxrec worth while , without them the records system would no doubt be a terrible minefield .
