1. Tunney
2. Sanchez
3. Burley
4. Ketchel
5. Jones

I think people are underestimating Sanchez here.

1. Stanley Ketchel....Just looking at his record and is mindboggling. He was only 23 years old when he died, but he did more than enough in his career than many boxers do in their lifetime. One of the top 5 middleweights ever. A top 50 all-time great p4p in my view

2. Gene Tunney...Beat the greats Jack Dempsey and Harry Greb twice each. Maybe the most underrated fighter of this bunch. A top 50 all-time great p4p in my view.

3. Salvador Sanchez...A victory over the great Eusebio Pedroza by KO in an unification featherweight bout might put him probably along the great Willie Pep as the greatest featherweight in history. It is sad that did not happened, because Pedroza was a hell of a champion. He left us wanting for more of his capabilities and what he can still do. He was just 23, but already beat some fine opponents like Danny Lopez, Azumah Nelson, Wilfredo Gomez, Juan LaPorte, Ruben Castillo, Roberto Castanon and Patrick Ford. A top 50 all-time great p4p in my view.

4. Charley Burley...Probably, the most ducked fighter in boxing's history. Not being a world champion because he was black, hurt him in the standings, but fought the very best black fighters of his era. Not a top 50 all-time great p4p in my view, but close to it.

5. Roy Jones, Jr....Extraordinary boxing skills, reflexes, speed, defense, ring generalship and underrated power. Lacked the chin. An almost perfect fighter. A modern time Charley Burley. Lost most of his time fighting mediocre fighters in the 90s, especially after he beat the great Bernard Hopkins and James Toney. After beating Toney, he did not face a great opponent of excellent quality at super middleweight and Light-heavyweight. Did he ducked the very best? I don't know, but his achievements to me made him in the top 100 greatest fighters p4p list. If he would have beaten guys like Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Michael Nunn, Julian Jackson and Gerald McClellan around the 90s decade and Dariuz Michalczewski at light-heavyweight for a title unification, definately, in my view, would have been a top 10 great fighter p4p ever. And a victory over the then reigning heavyweight champ Lennox Lewis? To me, would have been the best fighter ever. However, Not a top 50 all time great fighter p4p in my view.

I really think Ketchel is being overrated here.

Other than beating Jack O' Brien his resume is quite shallow.

Well keep in mind he was dead by 24 and participated in 60 boxrec doc'ed fights. With an unheard for that era, ko rate of 94%. He has world class contenders to his credit in addition to O'Brien: Klaus, Papke, Kelly, the Sullivan bros. Once upon a time he was rated as the greatest middleweight of all

If anything I think he's being vastly under rated by most posters here.
