Why Haroon Khan is ''only average''

There has recently been a thread on here regarding Haroon Khan not getting chosen to compete in the olympics. He has lost many recent decisions and shown none of the talent his brother posseses. This is why, in my opinion:

A top, world class boxer very rarely grows up in a family of millionaires with a mansion and a wide variety of sports cars. A top fighter often has a desire to stride towards these things, whcih is what makes him special, wheras Haroon, doesnt have too. He knows that if he faILS as a boxer, he can still live with P Diddy in LA and drive a top of the range BMW. He doesnt need to fight.

Whats he got to do with it.As far as im aware,they both are from normal backgrounds and came through the Man.U youth system.And Phil isnt,wasnt bad.Look at his medals and caps,both are a credit to the superbly named Neville Neville

Your absolutely right look what happened to rocky when he got rich, he got sloppy. It wasn't until apollo creed took him back to the roots that he got the eye of the tiger.

Amir Khan hails from a depressed part of Bolton, his father is/was a scrap metal dealer, as far as l'm aware the family were not wildly rich before Khan turned professional, with the earlier success of Gary Neville it did not deter what Phil achieved.

Unless l'm totally missing the original point, l don't think the success of Amir and the disposable income that this has brought to his family would hinder his brother's determination to achieve his own goals in Sport.

Following Everton l have met Phil a few times and is a very likable person. However as for Gary this banner sums him up perfectly..

I'm no fan of Amir Khan - but this is a ridiculous post.

Why would he want to live with P Diddy ? - - I'm sure P Diddy is happier living with his wife

And Haroon is happier living with his family.

Haroon has not shown the talent of Amir - and you put that down to him living in a mansion

If the talent is not there - it is not there -
