Loses to Johnson. I think he goes 1-1 vs Holmes.

Those are his most dangerous fights...could go either way, I'd favor Joe.

The Evander fight would be real tough on both of them. I see Joe winning, not sure how good either of them would be in the aftermath.

If I had to base this purely on odds, I would say 7-0 as well. However, Frazier's style makes almost any match with a Heavyweight legend a dicey affair. Especially over twelve rounds, which doesn't suit him as well as fifteen, IMO. The chances are pretty decent the Walcott who, "lost" to Louis could out-point him, & Tunney, who was tougher & more durable than Walcott, not to mention flat-out better (though giving up a little size) would have even better chances. Holmes would have his shot, too. Holyfield would be a real tough fight for both, but Frazier always wins that if it's over fifteen. Twelve might change the result, though. Charles & Patterson would've fallen at some point. Johnson would make life difficult, but lacked the work-rate or durability to survive forever.

7-0 is what I'd call it, but I wouldn't be putting money down.

Johnson, Holmes and Evander are his biggest tests. The other ones? He blows them out between 5 rounds.

LOL at Tunney being out in five rounds or fewer.

I say he goes 6-1 losing a close decision to Holmes.

The Holyfield fight would be very close though.

What everbody on that list had in common is they were great boxers and technicians although Holy was the biggest brawler in the bunch.

I don't think any of them hit hard enough to keep Frazier off them. That doesn't mean they wouldn't win rounds and hit Joe a lot. But to win the fight they would have to have a cast iron chin and a concrete body to absorb the punishment Joe is going to inflict on them for twelve or fifteen rounds and then come back with punishment of their own.

Jimmy Ellis and even Buster Mathis looked good against Frazier in the early going.

The best match to your description, overall, of chin & body is Tunney.

Frazier would hunt Tunney down and the end would be quite brutal.

If you can't keep Frazier off you, you are doomed.

Frazier would have gotten to Tunney.

Guaranteed.

Yes, he would have. Doesn't mean he makes an easy night of it. Tunney hit harder than any version of Ali, & made fewer errors in the ring, too. He was at least Ali's equal as a tactician. At least.

I'm not sure if you are or aren't, but if you're pitching the idea this is anything approaching an easy night for Frazier, I think you'd be rudely awakened if we ever saw it unfold.

Anyway, I would pick Frazier on a close points win over fifteen, or maybe a late stoppage. It's a pick 'em fight over twelve rounds.

No, it would not be a walkover for Frazier.

But Frazier would have gotten to Tunney better then he did Ali. He would have broken Tunney down bit by bit and Gene wouldn't see the late rounds.

What Dempsey nearly finished, Frazier would quell in a more dominant fashion.

Joe would overwhelm the boxers and that includes Holmes. Holyfield is the trickiest fight. I lean towards Joe but that's the closest one.

Frazier goes 7-0. Holyfield has a chance. Holmes has none. Frazier would destroy Larry's body. I think Larry gets burned bad.
