Golovkin is hungry, young, powerful, skillful, and world class. He would wreck the aura of false invincablity the Mundine and Boxa have sold to the general public over the past few years. Boxa will not risk it. But I not saying that I would'nt want to see it, I would even buy a ticket to this fight if it happened.

I too have been hearing about this possible Interim WBC LMW world title fight, but sadly this will not happen either as we all have heard rumours of his inability to get down to that weight.

My money is on a fight happening against another South American taxi driver.
Prepare to be amazed at Boxa promotions whom will be coming up with another wrank opponent!

So mundine can claim again he was almost champ again.

How do people rate the interim version to say the vacant tiltle?
For me interim is second best, whereas when you win the vacant you can at least claim once you defended it it's a world title.
Katsidis is a prime example, he's entering his 5th or 6th Interim title fight and for me has never won a world title fight, if you look at the fact that DIAZ held the full version the first time around, before Katsidis lost to him and now JMM is the rightful owner of the current. Katsidis should challenge for that Vacant IBF title that people can't seem to win atm.

Yep, hence my emphasis on Interim. Have no regard for 'interim' or 'regular' world belts. This has been discussed to death on here but a nice time for a recap. Only the best in the division should hold world titles, the hangers on and the vain settle for Interim, Regular and the IBOllox titles in order to falsely elevate their status.
Even though Danny Green is a top class bloke the fact that he stomps about calling himself a Cruiserweight World Champion really gets on my goat!!! I think the Australian Boxing fans can see through it and he is at danger of looking like Choc if he keep selling himself in this way.

This underhanded activity carried out by promoters cons the non boxing fans into actually believeing the the IBO strap means something. Danny Green is not a world champion, he is 'alphabelt' champion.

No Arguments here....As i've stated at nausem, the IBO,WBO and WBA regular are on par, but it's still a bargaining chip and generally leads to something good.
All titles are alphabet titles IMO, you can be the WBC,IBF,WBA,WBO or IBO title holder and still doesn't mean your the champ.
I honestly think the Ring get it right 90% of the time.
