Well said Jon. It was a pretty easy fight to score in my opinion. Ancliff clearly won the fight. I believe Gonzalez is technically the superior boxer but Ancliff simply had more hunger and desire to win. Adrian simply has to be more active in a 4 round fight to beat a live opponent like Ancliff.jonp wrote:I dont read a fight right??you wasn't watching pal, if you were that close cos I can think you sat that close and saw ancliff land any clean punches, trust me the two rounds show that, haye through like 40 punches in twelve rounds with valuev or something like that and won, valuev pressing the action throwing more but landed poop all, so before you say more work aggression your answer is there, haye stank the place out but was clean with what he through, you don't read a fight right , I can see exactly where Gonzalez feels hard done by he should of got it my opinion, haye boxed great game plan no one said valuev pressed the action more aggresion crapYou can see on the you tube clips that Ancliff landed clean punches and to be fair i was chatting at ringside and im in pretty good company going for Ancliff,Adrians promoter Dave coldwell , ritchy woodhall, the ref, Ian mcneily, the law form Boxrec all had Ancliff winning it pretty handily.I suppoe none of these guys know how to read a fight right either

to be perfectly honest the youtube clip doesnt realy do either fighter justice as a lot of punches you cant see where they are going because its simply too far away.I suppose the right hand that knocked Adrians head back at 2.20 of the second round didnt land cleanly either?![]()
You have to learn to accept sometimes yr mates lose if they dont put the effort in it happens.
But dont be telling people they dont read a fight right just because it doesnt agree with yr views as it makes you look very biased.
every fighter wants to win, whether collectively or head down arse up swinging, adrian didnt want to lose the fight did he , he is just more measured and controlled, come on, i really cant see who you cant see whats happening in the videos , there were plenty of times ancliff wasnt coming in, only certain times in the rounds, adrian was pot shotting, could of put more combinations together, but adrian was cleaner and landed clean more than ancliff, its right there, hunger and desire dont win a fight, does it, what are yuo saying adrian didnt want to win enough? he boxed his way around thinking making his opponent miss and kept his own work clean, he was relaxed, ancliff rugged and wasnt cleanly landing from the outside so ruched in grabbiding adrian and alot of rabbit punches , slapping down on him can you not see that, the ref never warned ancliff and he done that throughout,Well said Jon. Looking at these videos you can see that the shots are landing ,its the fans that are technically poor such a yrself that can only see a shot that lands after travelling some distance and knocking a head back and not see when a short shot lands on the inside or when a body hot goes in first or when a shoulder block doesnt work and it clips the top of the head.acenabox wrote:The Law wrote

dear oh dear ! please explain exactly how james won the fight ? slapping his shoulders, hitting to the back of the head, plodding forward, if thats all you need to win british boxing is in a poor state. If the fight was in america, James, game and tough though he is, would not have won a round. It also makes me shudder to think that pro trainers sitting ringside would be so lazy or technically poor, as to give a lad a win for simply walking forwards.
I take nothing away from James Ancliff, as always he gave great effort, but he was outboxed.....it is boxing isn't it, the supposed sweet science.
James has offered a rematch. Good on him. I've no doubt it will be accepted.

Its not just pro trainers its also very respected journalists, ex world champions, top promoters and current pro boxers that saw and realised who won that fight.
Its guys such as yourself who try to insult people who actualy work and make a living at this game because you think your opinion has to be right.
Sorry to burst your bubble but theres a reason we get paid to be there and theres a reason you pay to get in then try to talk down to people who actualy know what they are on about.
how you see the fight, how ancliff win,? explain, you just saying he clearly won, and i cant add coments now,?jonp wrote:Lol to be fair law id just looked at acenaboxs 32 previous posts and hes not so mucha boxing fan as a lee beard fan. If i'd realised this i wouldnt even have answered i mean who knows more a plethora of boxing people from different walks and different abilities or a fanboy?
not everyone scored it ancliff, even at ringside, so slapping and holding counts in the pros, john ok i didnt know, thought rabbit punches are told not to happen by the ref before the fight, not one close clean shot technically lands and you'll never convince me i watched again, when you said 2:20 ancliff right hand, did you see adrian land with the same shot at the same time, ancliff then fell onto adrian? probably notjonp wrote:I saw the fact the same as everyone else that Ancliff was throwing more shots landing more shots up close, taking the occasional counter he was more aggresive which does count in the pros Marcus the amatuers may reward a stiff eye catching jab over a couple of short right hands that dont get counted quick enough fourtunaly the pros dont.
Ancliff lands plenty of clean shots and almost evey body can see them apart from people who know him and are clearly biased (not a bad thing)
On the videos you can see ancliff landing shots the same as everybody did ringside ,its nice that yr being loyal to somebody youv trained with but dont you think Adrians Promoter Dave coldwell,or the unbiaed pundits at ringside including ritchy woodhall and others and journalists who have no bias whatso ever would have been calling Adrian the winner if they thought there had been some robbery?
Its how the pro game works and as you can see most of the professionals were not surprised at all and its amatuers who have a totally diffrent scoring system that cant quite understand it.
You just said that not one clean shot lands but then ay did you see adrian land the same shot at the same time.To be perfectly honest Adrians shots were much better quality and he hurt Ancliff but Ancliff did land shots you can see that on all three rounds showed and wile he may not have hurt him workrate took the fight for me.Pro boxer to be wrote:not everyone scored it ancliff, even at ringside, so slapping and holding counts in the pros, john ok i didnt know, thought rabbit punches are told not to happen by the ref before the fight, not one close clean shot technically lands and you'll never convince me i watched again, when you said 2:20 ancliff right hand, did you see adrian land with the same shot at the same time, ancliff then fell onto adrian? probably notjonp wrote:I saw the fact the same as everyone else that Ancliff was throwing more shots landing more shots up close, taking the occasional counter he was more aggresive which does count in the pros Marcus the amatuers may reward a stiff eye catching jab over a couple of short right hands that dont get counted quick enough fourtunaly the pros dont.

it dont matter trainer or matchmaker, its only opinions, the video doesnt show close clean shot tho and all your saying, you mention one right 2:20 not adrian at the same time, you know when watching it back adrian is the more effective with the cleaner scoring shots , more measured and controlled work landing steadily as mention haye valuev, loads of punches not required what lands clean especiall when making the other guy miss falling off balance no matter how much desire he has, adrian was cool and thought throughout, ancliff ruched without much clean succes, hence the grabbing and hitting the back of the head, can you agree with thatjonp wrote:Every post youv made has been biased towards lee or one of his boxers like say no big deal James its nice to be loyal to your friends but when you start insulting people by calling them lazy or technicaly poor you arnt realy debating any more your just being rude.
If i was to come on here and start calling you names over yr opinion of an amatuer fight( where yr level of expertise would no doubt pass mine) then you may feel a bit aggreived dont you think?
I dont actualy train anyone the training in our gym is done by some one else but i am sked to help and do a few corners from time to time.im a matchmaker and promoter but i do have a trainers licence as it comes in useful around the gym.
Lol youv already seen me in one James i put the bucket in for the David Haye fight the other night.

I actualy do and to be fair Adrians punch was better ,the reason i mentioned this punch is because people were saying Ancliff didnt land a single clean punch ,i just pointed out that example if i wanted too im sure i could find a few more.Pro boxer to be wrote:it dont matter trainer or matchmaker, its only opinions, the video doesnt show close clean shot tho and all your saying, you mention one right 2:20 not adrian at the same time, you know when watching it back adrian is the more effective with the cleaner scoring shots , more measured and controlled work landing steadily as mention haye valuev, loads of punches not required what lands clean especiall when making the other guy miss falling off balance no matter how much desire he has, adrian was cool and thought throughout, ancliff ruched without much clean succes, hence the grabbing and hitting the back of the head, can you agree with thatjonp wrote:Every post youv made has been biased towards lee or one of his boxers like say no big deal James its nice to be loyal to your friends but when you start insulting people by calling them lazy or technicaly poor you arnt realy debating any more your just being rude.

This has actualy done my head as im friends with lee and realy wanted Adrian to pull it round but i just say it as i see it and now i sound like some mad Ancliff fan.
I even said perhaps i was seeing it from a wrong angle because of the debate but when James came on questioning my work ethic and professionalism i wasnt too amused im not the best trainer about but i like to think i know what im on about.
Your a top corner man Jon, was happy when you did my corner for me. Did some good padwork warming up.
