NNOOOO!!....

I cant be the only poster who has no interest whatsoever in reading or posting on the current scene? Yet I still want to discuss some aspects of world/international boxing on this board.

For the love of God - Dont kick international boxing threads onto the current scene!!
Completely agree with this TT.

However, my vote goes to merge, please.

Ive been flicking through some of the really old topics on boxrec forum and have been amazed at how it almost catagorically lists pre fight talk, during fight talk and after fight talk of almost every decent fight since about 2002, consider what could be missed with merging when looking back, rbrs only imo

No merge please - I can appreciate why we have had such a lot of merging, but it has diluted the board.

Identical threads should be merged, but can we leave the threads that have different slants on a fight or fighter, rather than bumped into one huge mess of a thread.

Just my opinion anyway - keep up the good work.

No merging, except for things like RBR, at which point rather than merging it might be better to lock the lesser/newer of the two threads and redirect to the other.

Multiple threads on one fight, fighter, or anything else boxing related is healthy for a forum. It often creates more interest and helps to build the hype towards a particular event. More importantly though, it offers users selectivity of conversation.

If merging is to continue on any level, i feel it needs to be kept to an absolute minimum.

I won't be progressing the proposed rule of keeping non-Brit/Irish fights outside of the forum because other forums don't apply this rule (e.g. the Oz forum has discussions about Haye/Ruiz and Hopkins/RJJ).

I think I'll stop this now, as it's hardly a close vote, and see what the Boss says.

I'm actually about to start another "To merge or not to merge thread", and is this instance, I think the two threads should be merged, but generally I'd say no
