Can't do much more than knock the other bloke out, can you? Dib's only loss was against a World Champion and that was on points.

Well, fornicate me !!!!

Kdwano southpaw looked good for the first two rounds, then went away from him. I thought from the 3rd onwards that this was heading for a predictable Pittman UD.

One thing about the first knock down, it was not a wild swing, it was a delibrate straight right to the edge of the Pittman jaw, second knockdown was a crisp uppercut, and the final knockdown was another sweet straight right. This Kdwano fella is trying to apply for Fijiian citizenship, if that happens then we could be seeing a lot more of him.

In my opinion, Jamie should of taken the full 8 count on one knee to collect his thoughts, he should'nt have got straight back up again. That was probably the reason he lost that, apart from the first sweet right straight hand from Kdwano, you can show that to the juniors as a great example of how to execute that punch. Someone put the 7th round on you tube.

The state of Pittmans face should not be taken as a one sided affair, lots of inside work by both fighter which did lead to accidentle headclashes.

Great nights boxing (AT LAST).

EDIT
Dib - Step up now!!!!

That is the risk you take when you spar with a hard hitter. Dominic must not have kept his guard up.

Kwadjo beat Ali in his previous fight. They breed them tough in Ghana.

They certainly do. With a bit of luck, Fiji might grant him permanent residency.
If I recall correctly, he was scheduled to fight in UK (C'wealth title I think), which didn't eventuate at short notice, and ever since then he's been skipping Pacific Islands to avoid being sent back to Ghana.

Kwadjo is a very talented kid, needs to get off his ass and train harder. Very good potential and Ali was supposed to fight him last year so I hear..... Kwadjo hung around Auckland for a while and then did a bit of a runner to Fiji but obviously it hasn't slowed his progress. Good for him....

I agree with Brute here. I think Dib is being handled well( he's still only 24) and is clearly getting better with less showboating and crisper punching which I believe is due to more confidence in his own ability. Mc cracken is a tough cookie and though Vea had some excuses you cant knock mc crackens performance. Bolling is one to watch. Not the quickest but has a good kit of punches and a high work rate. What happened to Ben Rabah and Egberime, I thought it was on this show?

My breakdown of the night.

Ganoy had too much power for the Thai....Ganoy needs to step it up now. Gostellow,Wills or Egberime would be nice.

Vea's loss really hurts him IMO, he just secured a Commonwealth title shot and had he not badly broke his nose days prior to this fight he would of again disposed of McCracken. You could see through the first couple of punch's landed by Mc cracken how easily that nose just exploded. I really feel for the bloke because he is a good fighter. He should bounce back should he not wait another 8 months to fight.

Dibb looked good in getting the job done against Belandre's, i was quite impressed with the way he was able to trade with the hard punching Philo, then he mixed it up with some elusive footwork and boxed from the outside. Dibb needs to step it up now. Time to head overseas again.

Bolling and Oganov was the fight of the night for me, Bolling is the genuine article and i can't wait to see what happens next for him. Coming into the fight i thought Oganov was highly over rated, but without doubt his best performance that I've seen in the ring. The fight could have been over in the first if only Bolling stepped on the gas. Oganov's punch's were genuinely sleeping pills and you have to commend Bolling's chin for with standing the few shots that cleanly hit.
IMO Bolling beats all Supermiddle's in Australia.

Pittman and Kwadjo was another fight that was unpredictable, as in all the fights the momentum swayed back and forth.I thought Pittman was going to pull another a UD out, until his chin cracked again in the 7th. although Kwadjo has good power i thought he struggled until the 7th, i would love to see Bolling v Kwadjo.
This fight was a revelation for me in the fact that Pittman will not get world honors, domestically he will rank high but his punch's have nothing on em. He was hitting as hard as he could with his fist, wrist and palm(pawing) of his hand and couldn't hurt the Ghanian. Headbutts didn't help, 8 months of inactivity didn't help and preparation wise in the last 2 years since his defeat to Sturm he's only been in the ring with journeymen Clenshaw.

I'm surprised that this card isn't getting the kudos that it deserves.

Thanks Grange and thankyou Fox for finally putting a decent card on that makes you proud to be a boxing fan.

It's on Greenies card on Wednesday. I can't wait for this one either.

Dibb is being handled well, although i'm still pissed at him for the whole oneHD debacle, he kind of redeemed himself last night.

Bolling....he's quick enough, what about his follow through when he punch's,he hits very very hard, a quicker fighter will be interesting for Bolling and although his footwork wasn't disastrous i would like to see him get a bit of bounce in his feet and move a bit side to side.

Best Fox card for some time. Decent matchups except for Ganoys'

The Dibster reduced the showboating and showed good evasion skills in frustrating his opponent before putting him away with a good combination. Both Ganoy and Dibb now need to seek stronger opponents.

The McCracken awakes and with Vea both put on a bloodbath of a fight, where the courage was measured in blood spilt. Maybe Vea with his damaged nose should not have gone inside the ropes but he did so and put up a game effort much to the crowd and the promoter's benefit.

Bolling showed what a good defense can do to a Victor who for the first five rounds posted himself on Bollings chest and got a pummelling for his trouble. Victor looked gone in the 5th and changed to more distant tactics, banking on a king hit to win. But Bolling bollixed Victor with counter combinations and by round 8, Victor was not fighting back and the ref ended it not a minute too soon. Victor is now on the downward slide but a bout against fellow loser Pittman may identify just where both fit nationally. A big effort by Bolling!

Jamie's style does not make for an attractive fight but he seemed well in it after 5 rounds but once Kwadjo realised that he could walk through Jamie's punches, he started throwing more swinging rights which paid dividends much to Jamie's disgust in round 7. Where to now for Mr. Business? Working a bit more in reducing his wide stance to generate a bit more power in his punches. Dreams of titles and big money overseas will have to go on the back burner but he can generate a bit of interest in fighting any number of the better local super-middles to see whether where he sits on the totem pole.
