Haye wants Klit in October

Post by Spiker »

I just read on Sky the haye want two more fights before he retires and wants one of the brothers in OCTOBER!
Surely waiting until October is stupid as its ages away and being to inactive will do him no good.

Whatever happened to fighting every 2 months :x
Also if this is the case i hope he fails as hes only interested in the money then getting out of boxing by the end of next year.

2 fights per year for your 21st century world champion

Woe betide any boxer who actually wants to retire with his faculties intact and his bank balance healthy

Anyway, the claim of just two more fights is almost certainly a bit of gamesmanship to force the Klits to the negotiation table a bit quicker.

Dont understand what more you'd want from "it" a British heavyweight banger who wants to fight everyone, and appears suceptable to a decent shot himself. Raises the profile of the sport in the UK, speaks well, unified champion at one weight, now looking to unify the heavy division .... thank fornicate if he retires eh... much rather have an african import who dances around for 12 rounds ina leisure centre doing next to nothing but squeeking a win and cant speak the lingo.

Thats not exactly what i meant.
The so called saviour the predecessor to Lennox Lewes has 2 fights left and makes zero defences if he wins!

He wont be living up to his own hype

But if you read his recent interviews where's the hype? He's been perfectly upfront and honest, which is one of the things i love about him. In that BBC one he acknowledged he'd never match Lennox's legacy and in his remaining fights he wants to take on the best (the Klits), so what's not to like?

Dont get me wrong he is great for british boxing but i presumed he would fight both klits then if he won make 2 or 3 defences then he could call himself the dominant champion.
I did not realise he would fight then both and then naff off.
