Can we stop slagging Andy lee off now??

Post by thepocketrocket »

I think we have now worked out that The Frenchman isn't a bum and Barker isn't the second coming of Jesus Christ!! Puts Lee's performance into perspective I think

Lee completely outboxed Belghcham and the Frenchman barely laid a glove on him in the entire fight and Barker gets caught like a fish in a barrell!

Delight a light has been shone on their embarrassing bias!

Using his performance against the Frenchman to criticize Lee certainly won't work now will it. Can't wait to see how the Lee-Barker nuthuggers go at it after this.

Didn't realise thay Darren won by Eight rounds, seems his performance was quality!!!

Lee got caught and got on his bike for two rounds, Barker was caught harder and more often!!!

Barker is a quality boxer but has got this fight wrong and if he comes through it will have learnt a huge lesson. I would like to see Lee-Barker :TU:

Just get the fight on, no need to wait!!!!

Think Andy would need to knock him out if the fight takes place in England though!! We are becoming the new Germany

Barker fights like a poor man`s Calzaghe, a bit slap happy and not enough power shots. Skilled boxer though, but I cannot see him making world level.

I will keep responding to your posts every time you post this to let everyone know that Lee was holding on for his life in the 10th round, in terrible trouble and almost knocked down and stopped and would not have lasted 12 rounds with Belgecham.

It's clear now that neither Barker or Lee will be the best in the division. Lee will always be prone to a pressure fighter coming on strong, as will Barker it seems.

Nobody thinks Andy Lee is shite bomber, but likewise why does everyone think he's the new Tommy Hearns?

If anyone dare's mention the fact he got battered and a stopped by bum in just 7 rounds, then you'd better to be prepared to be dragged from your house and put inside a giant straw effigy shaped like Darren Barker and burned alive in a scene similar to the Wicker Man.

He's no Tommy Hearns but is a good level fighter, I personally don't think Steward is right for him BUT time will tell, I think he'd be better suited to someone like a Tibbs or maybe Breen??

He hasnt been trained by Steward since the Vera fight.

He is now living in New York and training with Joey Gamache.

you can keep saying it but that doesnt make it true - it aint, he wasnt!

Lee totally outboxed Affif in a way that Barker failed to - its simple as that.

yet he took a hiding in the last round, much much worse than any trouble Barker had, and was holding on for his life and wouldn't have lasted 12 rounds - simple as that :TU:

you can keep on saying that on as many thread as you want - its still not true. Affif caught Lee with a very big shot with 10 SECONDS to go in the final round of a fight that Lee won every round. Lee tied him up until the bell came, Lee's legs didnt buckle or shake and he wasnt in any trouble. His reaction immediately after the bell proves that. You've got zero class and are just embarrassing yourself to be honest!
