It would take a lot to bounce back. Confidence is key in this sport

Can't do much more than knock the other bloke out, can you? Dib's only loss was against a World Champion and that was on points.
What. Don't you watch the fights? Just look up the results then? You're telling us that Dibb has fairly and squarely won all but one of his pro fights? Bah.

For a guy thats been involved for that long, it would be a shame to hang em up, judges had him winning a shut out.

I rewatched the fight last night, i think the ref missed at least 3 deliberate elbows by Kwadjo that hit the sweet spot, couple that with 5 or 6 head clash's, and the 2punch combo(end of round6) that landed when the fighters were separated and Jamie wasn't looking.

Rematch.

I agree. I have just watched the fight again and there is no excuses that Jamie can come back with, he got caught!!! I don't think it is curtains for Jamie, he is still young, he needs to go back and work on his stance (I agree with the commentators that it is too wide) and increasing his power, at his size you should be getting guys like that out of the ring.

It is a long way back, but 2 years of low profile fights, 3-4 wins and he is back in the mix. He can do it if he applies himself.

pittman was straight back up , kwadjo is a strong puncher and that last shot would have knocked down a small house , pittmans chin is good, infact his toughness shocked me, nearly every fight he is cut or marked up and he just keeps bounding away , i am a bit of a fan now and hopes he comes back better ...

Pittman looked like he had ZERO pop. That was the main thing to come out of the fight for mine, absolutely no power, and because of that he couldn't keep the bloke off him and got done.

The Dibster reduced the showboating and showed good evasion skills in frustrating his opponent before putting him away with a good combination. Both Ganoy and Dibb now need to seek stronger opponents.

The McCracken awakes and with Vea both put on a bloodbath of a fight, where the courage was measured in blood spilt. Maybe Vea with his damaged nose should not have gone inside the ropes but he did so and put up a game effort much to the crowd and the promoter's benefit.

Bolling showed what a good defense can do to a Victor who for the first five rounds posted himself on Bollings chest and got a pummelling for his trouble. Victor looked gone in the 5th and changed to more distant tactics, banking on a king hit to win. But Bolling bollixed Victor with counter combinations and by round 8, Victor was not fighting back and the ref ended it not a minute too soon. Victor is now on the downward slide but a bout against fellow loser Pittman may identify just where both fit nationally. A big effort by Bolling!

Jamie's style does not make for an attractive fight but he seemed well in it after 5 rounds but once Kwadjo realised that he could walk through Jamie's punches, he started throwing more swinging rights which paid dividends much to Jamie's disgust in round 7. Where to now for Mr. Business? Working a bit more in reducing his wide stance to generate a bit more power in his punches. Dreams of titles and big money overseas will have to go on the back burner but he can generate a bit of interest in fighting any number of the better local super-middles to see whether where he sits on the totem pole.
it is good to see someone else comment on jamies stance, i2 years ago i pointed it out when he boxed one of boys, pressure him and he can,t go anywhere, he is a fast puncher ,but not a heavy puncher, right hands ,left rips and hooks are the go against a southpaw, now that you,ve pointed the obvious out, his trainer might get the old legstraps out, jaimies hadthe potential but the majority of his opponents have not tested him and his trainers certainly don,t know how to get it out of him, very good promotion, all the best :TU:
