Jim, I have Mayweather v Castillo 1 & 2 (I thought the second fight was a little closer) but trust me Castillo didnt do enough to win.

I would compare their first fight with Hopkins V Eastman. Yes like Eastman, Castillo walked forward all-nite, but he never landed the better shots, and was picked off fairly regualrly by one-twos and single shots.

Some people (though admittedly they are dillusional) thought Eastman won becuase Hopkins boxed cute. Same goes with the Castillo fight.

Yeah , if the fight had been in England it would have been a wider decision for Mayweather.
The other thing i've noticed is how much the commentators influence you when watching at home, most of the fight they spent moaning about how bad Mayweather was performing, so you end up at the end of a round thinking that Castillo must have won it.

Yes, however, Doug Fischer, Steve Kim etc, would have been at the fight, not listening to the commentators.

I know what you mean though, the commentators made it sound like Lewis was seconds away from being knocked out almost every point of every round against Vitali, with the sound off, things looked nowhere near as bad after round 2.

Great news. :TU:

Although I feel a bit bad for Witter.

Hope Gatti wins.

Witter wasn't even on their radar, it's irrelevant whether this fight happened or not. gatti's people would have avoided anyone with Witter's power like the plague, for fucks sake, they were talking about Abdulaev...

I've heard that Cotto wants to fight Abdullaev, and I think he has better chances of beating Abdullaev(like 70-30) than Gatti. Gatti would still be favorite, but 60-40 IMO

Mayweather will win by a mile. Gatti is short of top class, when he's fought the best in a division he has been outclassed. He looks great against the second rung but not the elite. Mayweather on points.
