Calzaghe needs Dietician could hatton borrow him

Post by josh fg »

Any significance in this or just standard procedure. Of all Warrens fighters he isn't the first fighter I would think needs a Dietician that tubby little Manc has been an issue of disscussion on these boards.

Strange how the artical also seems to make out Woods is unresonable for not fighting him, those chicken comments just seem silly.

Wanker, Woods is not chicken at all. He has agreed to fight Calzaghe before and was 2 weeks into camp when Sicknote changed his mind why the fornicate should he give him a shot now?

Also he obviously wasnt 100% confident he would beat Ottke as he wouldnt travel to Germany to fight him yet will go over there and face Veit for less money than he was supposedly offered for Ottke. Wanker.

More to the point how dose Calzaghe not know for his back bone think that although Woods was brave enough to get in the Ring with Roy Jones Jr but when it comes to fighting the holder of the WBO belt for a weight cattogry bellow him... well you see where Im going Calzaghe is a twit

I would have thought so but it just seems strange he is doing so now.

Having said that didn't Lennox Lewis's mum do all of the food for his training camp I remember reading that somewhere although it could be crap.

That's what I've heard to.

But I think Mrs Lewis had advice from some diet experts over the years.

It's amazing really, Calzaghe had no interest in Woods whatsoever before he had a title, and now he's expecting to leap to the front of the queue. I think Woods has earned the right to a soft defence now, and the plot whatever path suits his own career. Calzaghe hasn't exactly gone out of his way for a big 3 title before now, he turned down Kessler, even though kessler had a genuine belt, because kessler was 'unknown outside of denmark' what unlike veit, who is a world superstar, or magee who is a huge global star on a par with DLH?

Clinton did say that Calzaghe could fight if he earn his shot didn't he?

Well Joe, beat a top 5 IBF LH then get it on with Clinton for his 2nd defence?

Sorry?

What's that Joe?

Oh you'd rather fight another WBO SM to increase your proud defence record?

Fair enough.

I love the way Calzaghe makes these statments about other fighters but never seems willing to back up any of these words. I can't stand that kind of trash talker esspecially as the casual fan believes it when he says he is hard done by.

Yes, but don't forget Calzaghe still trains in a cow shed.

After Magee and Veit, Calzaghe will probably be after a WBO/WBU unification match...

Didn't Jeff Lacy say he was willing to face Calazaghe and that if he couldn't get him to America he'd fight him in Wales.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/4326733.stm

Man Lacy looks big for a super Middleweight he has more muscle than Calzaghe and Calzaghe looks like he hardly has any.

lacy looks like he does bags of weight training to me, he has an unusually muscular physique for a fighter. How he make SM is just beyond me.

I think makes it because he is only 5'9 and most of the other SM are 6' and up.

Didn't Calzaghes old gym get knocked down about 18 months ago and he moved into a new gym?
