There was an excellent documentary called 'the journey of man' which traced human origins to a small tribe from that region, and the original tribes from which wer are all descended remarkably still exists! They figured out that a group of no more than 15-20 of them left Africa 50,000 years ago, and everyone else on the planet is descended from them.

Did you see the recent news about developments in the American education system with "intelligent design" & "evolution is just a theory" being forced into the curriculum?
I won't bother rehashing it here but i think we might be seeing the fruits of that already...

The oldest Human skeleton was recently found in the middle east. Africa could be the starting place of man, but I'm going of the basis of the recent skeleton findings and basis on the bible. Not for nothing, but this thread is very disappointing. It has racist comments, people making jokes about 9/11, and a guy that said all Americans are dumb, but yet spelled that wrong..... :(

but i find it offensive that a country teaches it's kids that the bible is fact and the theory of evolution is just that, a theory...... it's funny how america has spent decades fight comunists and now islamic terrorists,and want everyone to be free and fair.yet it teaches it's kids that if they aren't good christian people they will die/be gay/have aids/do drugs/beat your wifeetc..

Sorry dude, but I'm not a weak minded fool. I believe in Jesus, if other people don't, that's cool, it's up to them. To each his own I guess. I believe in doing what's right and helping others when I can. I'm not a religious freak or anything like that. I just try to do what I think is right...........

I'm seriously considering pulling this thread. When religion/politics get involved in threads it usually starts getting personal. I don't want a unnessary rucks occuring on a non-boxing related thread.

I'll keep it open for a bit though, just don't be offensive or personal. What people believe (or not believe) in is their business.

Please, do use the favor, pull this thread!!! Also, I never said I follow the bible word for word, if read what I said, I DO WHAT I BELIEVE IS RIGHT. I didn't say anything about consulting the bible everyday of my life. I said that I believe in Jesus, but I'm not a religious freak. I can't put it any easier than that. If I'm weak minded for believing in Jesus, oh well.........
