No... just... no.jamesmcdonnell wrote:I think on a one punch loaded shot Phillips may hit harder. However, in terms of consistent delivery of power, no contest, it's Tszyu all the way.

You could have a point. Do you think Hatton can avoid being hit by a big punch for two rounds?jamesmcdonnell wrote:I think on a one punch loaded shot Phillips may hit harder. However, in terms of consistent delivery of power, no contest, it's Tszyu all the way.

Lets brake it down. The fight won't happen obviously, but I'm bored so I'll break it down for you very simply.
Power: Tszyu (Can and Will connect and hurt Hatton. Can Hatton hurt Tszyu? Tszyu would laugh at Hattons body shots)
Chin: Tszyu (Has taken BIG punches no problem including A Judah uppercut that would have taken Hattons head off)
Speed: Even
Heart: Tszyu. (Hatton is untested in this department)
Stamina: Tszyu (Do you really think a professional like Tszy who trains much harder than Hatton cannot go 12 rounds? Hatton is a fat piece of crap right now and Tszyu will be training as hard as ever)
Defense: Tszyu (Does Hatton have one?)
Recovery: Tszyu (Magee should have taken Hatton out. Tszyu recovers very well from big shots and even if he is hurt (very rare and Hatton can't hurt Tszyu), it's hard to know.
Strength: Tszyu
Accuracy: Kostya Tszyu
Bodypunching: Hatton (But Tszyu will KO Hatton if he tries this in 1 round like Williams should have been)
Facial Resistance to cuts and swelling: Tszyu
Jab: Tszyu
Right Hand Skills: TSZYU
Left Hook Skills: TSZYU
Uppercut Skills: TSZYU
Corner:EVEN
Crowd Support: Hatton
Corrupt Judging: Hatton
Big fight experience: Tszyu
These are the reasons why the fight won't happen.

that's the million dollar question. He can maybe avoid getting hit, but to do so and actually win the rounds will be difficult.Graham Brett wrote:You could have a point. Your wrong on Stamina - Hatton throws far more punches than Zoo. Speed of foot and hand I'd give to Hatton too.lirva33 wrote:Lets brake it down. The fight won't happen obviously, but I'm bored so I'll break it down for you very simply.

Mate, you haven't a clue who really hits harder - unless you've actualy taken their punches, have you?Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote: Your deluded, first off Kostya wasn't cut from punches he was cut from an accidental head but.
Second off you think Phillips hits as hard as Tszyu. Did you see Phillips splatter Mitchell round the ring in 3rounds? Oh no he lost that fight didn't he. A prime Phillips caught an untrained Tszyu who had punched himself out.
Do you also think Watson hit harder than Benn? Or maybe you think Douglas hits harder than Tyson? Or how about Byrd hits harder than Vitali?
Like me, it's all guess work.
So Tszyu splattered Mitchell - that makes him a harder hitter?
But when Phillips splatters Tszyu - it doesn't count, right?
A "prime" Phillips had actualy been blasted out by Quartey a year earlier don't forget.
Tszyu has only even been knocked out by one guy - Vince Phillips. That fact should tell you right there that the American is a serious puncher.

AGAIN Kostya punched himself out. Does Ali hit harder than Foreman? Does Watson hit harder than Benn? Those are both carbon copy scenarios.MightyWarrior wrote:Mate, you haven't a clue who really hits harder - unless you've actualy taken their punches, have you?Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote: Your deluded, first off Kostya wasn't cut from punches he was cut from an accidental head but.

Who has better punch stats? Who has the higher workrate? Hatton throws countless more punches. I don't care how many dips Zoo can do.lirva33 wrote:please read up on tszyu training methodsPhenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Your wrong on Stamina - Hatton throws far more punches than Zoo. Other than knocking out a china chinned Judah, who has Tszyu knocked out with one punch then? Last one I can recall was Fuentes....around 13 years ago.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote: AGAIN Kostya punched himself out. Does Ali hit harder than Foreman? Does Watson hit harder than Benn? Everyone know that Tszyu has 1 punch KO power and has perhaps the most devastating right hand in the division.
Philips doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as him.
Come on, lets not overdo it here to find positives for Hatton. Similar shit was said before the Williams fight w/klit in order to make positives for Williams.
I just can't see how you have an argument on this.

Well I don't really see the relevance in his argument - did Vince win by using Ali's rope a dope tactics, is that what he means? It's a bizzare argument.lirva33 wrote:your argument is very flawed, and you didn't even address the first part of phenominals post.

So you're both telling me, that along with all his other admitted huge talents, Tszyu is also a one punch ko artist? Bullshit.
Why not destroy my argument by giving me a list of fighters he's ko'd with one shot then? If you're that huge a puncher it's not hard - think Naz, Jackson, Hearns etc.
Phillips hit tszyu with about 20 punches(it wasn't just one punch) and Tszyu was still on his feet as the ref stopped the fight, Tszyu had punched himself out and u could see it coming. Im not going to say who is a bigger puncher but Tszyu has proved far more and stoped a lot of people that where very durable.MightyWarrior wrote:Mate, you haven't a clue who really hits harder - unless you've actualy taken their punches, have you?Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote: Your deluded, first off Kostya wasn't cut from punches he was cut from an accidental head but.

Lewis has a very decent chin.lirva33 wrote:"china chinned judah" - Please!!
Watch Judah vs Spinks 1 and 2, not to mention most of his other fights.. He takes a good punch.
I guess Lewis has a china chin too then?
So............Zab goes 12 with the HUGE punching Corrie Spinks, he must have a chin of iron I guess.

Judah has been down in numerous fights. FFS, you tell me he went 12 with Spinks as an example of how good his chin is - Spinks? A guy with 10 knockouts?!lirva33 wrote:You obviously havn't watch those or many other Judah fights, but if Judah was British, he'd have a "very decent chin".

I don't know if you're aware that Spinks is a WELTERWEIGHT. 147 pounds. Think about that, because you obviously havent.MightyWarrior wrote:Judah has been down in numerous fights. I also don't know if you're aware that the right hand that Tszyu landed against Judah would have sent most LW's into dreamland.
Hatton has been dropped and hurt by Magee. So, obviously he has a poor chin?
Lewis was dropped and KTFO by Rachman and McCall. Badly hurt against Briggs in the first round. So why does he have a very decent chin?
Judah was down in the first against Millet and 2nd against Bergman. Both flash knockdowns and he got up to win those fight. So he get's dropped by a Tszyu right that would KO most people in the division and Stopped ON HIS FEET, and he has a poor chin now? Then he MOVES UP A WEIGHT and goes alost 22 rounds with the undisputed champion of that weight, winning both fights IMO.
So tell me why Lewis has a very decent chin and Judah doesn't.
For the record, I think Lewis has a very decent chin.
imo judah gets too much stick about his chin. Sure he was on queer street form the tsyzu punch, but had he been less hasty and more experienced and took a knee rather than bouncing straight back up he could have beat the count.
The other knock downs were all flash knockdowns, and he wasnt in serious trouble. Hes a bit like hamed, in that his style means his balance is a little off. Hamed went down many times but his chin is never quesioned.
I think judahs chin is average, but all this china chin talk is a bit too much.

OK then Mitchell was put down by the first right hand that landed, Judah was but when your fighting at the elite level (not WBU level) you fight people with good chins and good defenses that are hard to even catch let alone KO with 1 shot.
