Not heard this, but it would not be something that either camp would be eager to publicise.
Dependant on the length of the suspension O'Donnell could get an Irish licence and fight over there.

Surely a search on Manchester news, mark thompson would turn up any assault charges?

Just ordered both suspension reports and neither shows anything like this up - however, there may be a time lag before they are recorded on their reports.
The only suspensions noted refer to both of their KO losses back in 2007.

It was Jamie Cox who got suspended for being convicted of assualt, read in boxing news Thompson had been suspended for "serious charges".
Don't know about O'Donnell but read he'd been forced to give his Commonwealth title up so could be something in that.

really "serious chrages" - wonder what Marks been up to. Shame, as he was a nice lad in the gym. Blood out of a stone interviewing him, but nice all the same.

I guess this (thankfully) puts O'Donnell in the clear.

Really a pity for Mark.
Without this, he would have been fighting tonight for the Commonwealth.

Yoyo,
Innocent until proven guilty mate.
If he's done wrong then rightly he's missed the chance of the Commonwealth fight.

x 2
Don't think this is the place to discuss what he is charged with until he has appeared before a court and been found guilty or not guilty
