Nobody would mind if he boxed on into his mid 30's I dont think.

There are some tough and interesting fights out there, Solis and especially Adamek are skimming under the radar but are stylistic threats.
adamek wil be nicely on the radar if he beats arreola on the 24th.

I think the mental nature of being a top boxer means you must have allot of belief in yourself coupled with thinking you are meant to best when maybe you're not - fair enough I say, you get no where worth going in life thinking otherwise, especially not to the top of a professional sport.

But because of this belief it must be hard for boxers to retire, even if it's obvious to spectators that a boxers prowess, ability and chin might fade, I think a top boxers beliefs and memories of past grandeur is the thing that keeps them going, and that is what needs to fade before they can truly settle with retirement, hence why so many come back out of retirement, along with the lure of cash also.

I don't think David Haye will retire for good at 31, maybe take some time off for the family if he does beat the Klits, but he won't be able to stop himself in a comeback fight against 'The Next Big Thing' that will more then likely call him out - especially if he does end up retiring as the undisputed No.1 heavy.

Judging by his current form, drive and level of self belief I don't think Haye will fade too much in the next 24 months, for someone so active in and outside the ring, who's clearly addicted to all aspects of the professional lifestyle, it will be hard for him to quit while he's ahead..

I genuinely believe he will retire when he says he will.He seems a very clever bloke, and so does Booth.Once he has cashed in on the Klits, dont expect him to be wanting Adamek, etc. He was even doing the N.E.C memoribilia show after Enzo. They wont piss their money up the wall.He is firmly established now,and would be in demand anyway, just like Ricky. They seem to have a masterplan, and,so far so good.

Yeah he'll probably focus more on promoting do. Was doing a good job until Setanta went under, hopefully he can secure a tv deal with someone else so that we get to see more of guys like Groves.

if HBO want adamek, then there'll be a payday in it for haye. this hinges on adamek getting by arreola in exciting or definitive fashion. if he comes through, it's a genuine fight and haye has already said that adamke's a great fighter who could be knocking on the door for a title shot...i don't think he'd say that for no reason.
