Re: The Fixer
I will be criticised for this...but didnt rate it.For us anoraks,he went on too much about stuff we already know.To a casual fan, probably a great read.Sorry,Steve,no offence meant at all
Re: The Fixer
I saw it more of a thriller / adventure with the boxing as the glue that held it together. Liked the settings in Vegas best - although it seems Bunce does seem to have an intimate understanding of the seedier aspects of sin city

Yes,but so do a lot on here.We dont need explaining a journeyman has to do his rounds.Just thought he laboured the point at times.Good thriller, for a casual fan,but i could tell you the names of at least a couple of people he based his character's on right now.He has definately lifted a couple of tales from British boxing mythology.Very good,i knew it anyway,i wish i had been paid to retell it....MacTavish wrote:I saw it more of a thriller / adventure with the boxing as the glue that held it together. Mickey,
Nobody should be Teflon coated. This is not stick. Thanks for the comments. I need to see more of them - both good and bad.
Adios and thans.
