Anybody had an issue with primetime internet service?

Post by Ezzard »

I paid and got the stream on the Sunday. Unfortunately what I got was the last 2-3 mins of the broadcast and nothing more. So the result and ending was shown and then nothing! Every time I tried I just got the same few moments. Abraham’s swing. Dirrell’s tears as he left the ring.

I’ve emailed for some kind of explanation but I’ve received nothing. I really want to support this service. I could have managed an illegal/free way to view the fight but I don’t do that with boxing because it’s just cheating the sport (and essentially yourself).

I want to get the Froch-Kessler fight but if they can’t even bother to respond what can I do..? Anyone have similar experience or have any suggestions?

That's a noble standpoind but I saw the fight in full with no problems and didn't pay a penny. You'll go to heaven, I won't. Apples and oranges.
2 emails to their support and no reply. If I don't hear from them soon I may wander of the path of righteousness...

I emailed that, and I got Kessler vs. Ward free (although that stream didn't work either lol). For me, they just kept buffering all the time... Crap online service - spam.tv are much better, as are secondsout.tv

Do they charge the same for online coverage as for TV? I think net coverage is the future for a large chunk of boxing (and other television entertainment), but the technology needs to be consistent for fans to buy into it.

It's only a flash player, so if some are watching it ok, then the problem may be closer to home.

One of my laptops struggles with streams and im forever emptying the cache, deleting temp files to keep it smooth.

Also wiring into your modem makes a big big difference from wireless connection. You get 100Mps instead of 54Mps.
