I'm sure after Darren beats Proksa he wouldn't mind coming over to Ireland and give Lee a beating :OhYes:
Well, Andy said he wants the fight and has made that public so it's up to Mick Hennessy and Brian Peters to make it, that is if Barker wants to share the same canvas as Lee
yeh he made it public by saying in an interview  peters needs to contact hennessy and im sure he will..but ghevor is next in line isn't he? so i cant see barker fighting lee
what's the  for? How else would he have made it public, he has aid it on both Irish and British radio aswell. Ghevor is supposed to be AND should be next but if he is, why is Proksa being lined up? Barker should fight his mandatory first and consider the fight against Andy Lee.

barker does not HAVE to fight lee just because the irish want the fight made, there are bigger fights for barker out there that will get him highly ranked in the world rankings ;;-)

Slapbang was only relaying information that he heard from a reliable source. I'll let him explain it if he feels like it. I doubt it will be going ahead on that date though after Barker went the distance with Belghe

Barker might have to have keyhole surgery on his hip so he can start doing the running again.

Maybe have another fight, or just have the op.

A. I dont have to explain myself to dross like yourself.

B. FAO Deano, the fight will most likely not be happening now because the caveat was Barker had to come through the Belgacham fight easily, and as this didnt happen and Barker took the hiding of his (professional) career thus far then they are going to have to reassess the what they do with Frazzling Barren Ducker. ;)

All the Irish want Frazzlin??? to fight Lee?? Why should Darren fight him? Barker is an undefeated european champion with BIG fights coming up. Surely lee would be a massive step down? Im sure if it was the other way round you wouldnt be telling lee to fight Barker!!! When Lee proves he is a real contender then i hope the fight happens.

I think that this is the craic -

A. The 7th of May bill in London is happening.

B. If Barker coasted through the fight with Affif then he was on with Proksa on the bill

C. Thats now in doubt for obvious reason (thats not a pop just a statement of fact)

D. The McCloskey bill is a movable feast and that date is very provisional.
Mccloskey fighting on Friday 4th July I read. So who will fight on 7th may show?
