The one on the opposite corner to Starbucks?Godfather of Dole wrote:If you're ever up North then check out the little independent clothes shop across from the town hall. Newsboy hats, flat caps and trilbies, all recommended by Alan Titchmarsh. Gonna grab a nice pinstripe flat cap from there for the Mitchell trip.Old bones Ian wrote:Mooresy, silly question. Rob1234, Gatti-Ward I was ace, II was also very good but the trilogy had lost a lot of impact by fight III, which wasn't an all-time fight, it had some very good rounds but was a let down. If Wales' comment is the worst you've seen in 12 years then you be very selective in your reading!
Jones III, the Macklin fight, though I felt Moore boxed with his brain more than his heart in that one, and the Rhodes thriller are pretty comparable, especially to the second and third Gatti-Ward fights. Just my two penneth.
I've never actually seen anyone in there. Thought is was a special shop for Masons - you trying to tell us something?

Whicker I've got you a million miles from reality, the ONLY reason Moore got beat was because he was weight drained. I can't actually believe he lasted till the 7th and in doing so was beating Rhodes comfortably. I agree that he didn’t run out of gas, because there was no gas there in the 1st place. It’s only my opinion but I believe Moore was a shadow of the fighter he was because he’d killed himself for too long at the weight. The only reason he’d have stayed at 70kg was because of money and opportunity to fight for world honours which he truly deserved so I don’t blame Joe G for what he says, I agree wholeheartedly.twenty six wrote:Whicker,
I agree with you.
I have the utmost respect for Jamie Moore.
I am however getting very tired of this consistant line that the only reason Jamie lost to Rhodes was because he ran out of gas.
I know for a fact that Jamie himself would argue against that.
Two chilling punches for the two knock downs might have had a bearing.
I just find it very disappointing, that having witnessed the domestic fight of the year, the result had nothing to do with Rhodes performance.
Mr Gallagher - you ought to know better.
Peace!

apart from getting hurt to the body and then to the head at the end of round 4, then taking solid shots over and over again from that point onwards in the fight.tntround1 wrote: I can't actually believe he lasted till the 7th and in doing so was beating Rhodes comfortably.
