Ellis should really call it a day too.
too true, I'm afraid.

Not sure why he continues, to be honest.

It pays the bills I suppose, but an Ellis stoppage is all too predictable now.

Anyone think Purdy's showing boosted Frankie Gavins win over McDonagh?Purdy shared two fights with him and then he(McDonagh) beat the French Champion in his last fight.Frankie shut him out in his 6th fight.I know you cant judge it who beat who,but....After Purdy's excellent showing,i think it looks an even better result

I see what you mean, yeah.

To ask a different question- how do you think Gavin would do against Purdy now?

I think he would beat him at 10st.Vassell was very crude and Purdy wouldnt land half those shots on Gavin.People may think its unrealistic, but look at Groves,if your good enough...

Purdy and Vassell both impressed me last night, Vassell's work rate and body attacks were very good and Purdys improved his defence. Very good fight, the best FFN in ages
