Is the 1936-3-16 venue correct? There's already a Pill Labour Hall card listed for that date (on which I've put the bout).

I have recorded the show of 16-03-1936 as being at the Corporation Baths,Newport.

Will double check when in Ref.Library this week.

The only show in Newport on Monday 16-03-1936 was definately reported to have been held at Stow Hill Baths.This show was the last professional boxing show to be held at the Baths.Jack Petersen was introduced from the ring.

It maybe worth noting that in 1935 separate boxing shows were held at Pill Labour Hall and Stow Hill Baths on the same night but may have been reported as one Newport show.Dates were=
