Documentary into Gatti and Forrest's deaths

Post by whiskey »

57 min doc from HBO the other week, not sure if any of you have seen it. Shows crime scene of Gatti, quite graphic and in-depth interviews from all concerned.

A very good documentary but very sad too.

I was really shocked they showed the crime scene photos of Gatti.

RIP to all three boxers.

Thanks for the link Gomez.

Thanks for posting this. The Gatti segment was good and I felt the evidence justified the suicide theory. Beforehand I was skeptical but I do feel that's what happened in a drunken moment of shame, and perhaps he wasn't too happy during his time after retirement, he certainly wouldn't be the first to feel that way.

I agree. After watching that documentary I now believe that his missus is innocent. People say because Gatti never quit in the ring he wouldn't do it in life but it's obvious by witness accounts that he was very drunk and ashamed of his behaviour that night. The bit about Gatti's will does raise some suspicion but these things happen.
