carl williams' death
is this the end of the trouble down there in melbourne? or will this start it all off again?
Re: carl williams' death
Well to be honest, he probably had it coming. after all the people he had killed (ALEDGEDLY). It was only a matter of time before it caught up with him.

Re: carl williams' death
he was getting his kids school fees paid and apparently the vic police were also paying his tax debts to the govt...so i guess he was about to talk, and he had to be silenced
Re: carl williams' death
his mouthpiece was far from happy.....he was supposed to be accompanied 24/7. don't know if there is too much left of the "gangland" for this to go any further. ask toppity....he drinks with mick gatto.....
Re: carl williams' death
Pretty ridiculous to blame the child for her father being a creep. Police have to protect life. If there was some danger to the child through no fault of her own (you can't choose your parents) there was a responsibility to look after her.
As for Carl Williams, the State of Victoria has one less criminal to worry about, the media have to find somebody else to write about.
Not my problem.

The more the merrier. So long as no good people get hurt I do not care how many gangsters get killed.
Bloke that killed Williams was already in protective custody. Does he go into solitary confinement now?

Re: carl williams' death
Served him right if he couldn't take a joke.
Re: carl williams' death
I don't think there will be a reprisal for this tbh. All that will happen, and with him already being inside it probably has already, will be that someone else will take his place. There is enough wannabes out there. One will try to step up. They will continue to knock each other off until things stabilise for awhile, and then things will start off again. It's happened before in the 70's, and it will no doubt happen again. There is too much easy money to be made for it to go away.
Re: carl williams' death
Yeah, I often find that one criminal dying in jail stops all crime in a big cityadamheight wrote:is this the end of the trouble down there in melbourne? or will this start it all off again?

He was a leading gangster in Melbourne. Doing time for murder he was killed by a fellow inmate. Now he is just another body in a fridge at the morgue.sg1985 wrote:Is he a former boxer or a criminal?

I was only joking but I wouldn't put it past him. They're all the best of mates when things are going well in the drug trade, then when it all goes pear shaped....
I like Mick Gatto's reply on the Carl news..."it's best to let sleeping dogs lie"

Re: carl williams' death
Has Mokbel been convicted yet? If he is still awaiting trial he would be in a remand prison, not with prisoners like Williams who had been convicted and sentenced.

im sure he doesnt mean actually "did it"...more "ordered it"Brute wrote:Has Mokbel been convicted yet? If he is still awaiting trial he would be in a remand prison, not with prisoners like Williams who had been convicted and sentenced.
Re: carl williams' death
They have the suspect, name not released. Overland says the motive is not yet known.
Who knows? The killer could be a notoriety seeker. He is probably doing life for something else. Seems he made no attempt to conceal his identity.

It's kind of hard not to be fingered when you and the deceased are the only ones in the yard, and CCTV is everywhere
The bloke who did it was the messenger who will never roll on the contractor, this has been coming for years, and much like Jack Ruby, this guy was told what to do, not asked.
I thought Carl was about to give up a cop who was alleged to be involved in 1 or multiple gangland murders, maybe the news is full of shitt.
Some famillys will sleep well now, others again will have to suffer the agonising affect of never talking to a love 1 again.

Re: carl williams' death
The man, via drugs and other dealings, was responsible, and I mean directly responsible, for hundreds of deaths. There may be some who genuinely mourn him, but there is now one less link in the chain of drug related deaths/overdoses.Hounddawg wrote:It's kind of hard not to be fingered when you and the deceased are the only ones in the yard, and CCTV is everywhere![]()

Chopper Read pissed himself laughing when he heard about it.
Apart from Williams' rellies that Bailleau character seems to be the only sad person. Why the hell would you want a judicial inquiry into the killing of a grub? If the bloke who killed him was following instructions he won't talk. Probably a lifer.
