That's nowhere near as daunting a list for Lightweights as it was a year or two ago. Mitchell and Murray have a good chance against most here, JMM aside, though I wonder how much he has left in the tank and whether he will fight in this division again anyway.

JMM is staying at lightweight apparently. Im a big fan of John Murrary so hopefully, he can win the Euro and then press on for a world title

katsidis the no1 contender.

bit surprised at that.

the division is a bit dead right now in truth.

anthony peterson should be getting a move on.

he'd own katsidis. :KO:

Hopefully they can both get a World title and have a huge UK unification.

Talking of Murray... where the hell is he?? The kid needs to be fighting more regularly. Is there a particular reason why he hasnt fought since October?

Yeah, cheers mate. I did read that, i was just wondering why the lad hadnt fought more often since he beat Thaxton. He's also had a real low profile since his win over Thaxton.

Fair enough Murray's sitting on his European title shot (and to be fair thats probably Hennessy's decision) but the odd 8 rounder would surely keep him fit and fresh and more importantly the ring rust off.

Clearly its felt though that the risk of a loss/cut/injury versus the benefit of keeping active isnt worth taking.

I think he has been messed about, he was supposed to be fighting the previous European champ, then that was off, then he was fighing in the USA then that was off.

Just one of those periods where it all kept going pete tong.
