Harrison vs Chi... Not happening for a while.

Post by stujones »

Doesn't look like the big Featherweight unification fight between Scott Harrison and Inchin Chi will happen for a while. Fightnews are reporting that Chi has bypassed the supposed Aisian affair vs Ryuhei Sugita in April and instead will focus on his next fight which will be vs Rocky Juarez in June.

Chi finally gets a big title defence, very very dangerous defence for him this. I'm sure the winner would be very confident that they could add the WBO belt to the WBC.

A mouthwatering fight and if Chi wins, will catapult him to the big league of Marquez / Pacquiao / Barrera / Morales. Juarez is ranked higher than Harrison in alot of independent rankings, justifiably I say.

Chi or Harrison, Nick? I would say he'd beat Harrison - Chi would be a test but yes, I'm inclined to go for Juarez aswell.

Chi will be the ultimate test of Rocky's punch power, which to me looks dynamite. How impressive was he against Ramirez ? Very!

I like how Chi get's the dangerous Jaurez and Harrison gets the likes of Samuel Kebede. :x

I meant Chi, but I think he'd beat them both.

Juarez looked good on ESPN the other night, he's definitely ready for that step up now. Had Chi not had that shaky first title defence I'm sure we'd all be favouring him though, he looked pretty unstoppable battering Michael Brodie.

Can't say i was ever overly impressed with Juarez, till I saw his KO of Guty Epades, which was class. Can't see him beating Chi myself though.
